I am using TATA Nexon XZ+ diesel from 2018 December, I AM extremely happy about the car, 1.value for money 2.good mileage, getting 22 on highway 3. 5 * safety 4. Service access 5. Top notch quality 6. Big legroom and headroom, IAM 6.1, still the passenger behind me gets enough legroom 7. Chilling A/C 8. Ground clearance, no one can match that, u can go anywhere without Hussle 9. Power modes What else u need in a car. Go for TATA nexon

Not a single bluddy review spoke about the turbo lag. I test drove it extensively for a long distance and there is a significant amount Turbo lag especially in the second gear. Decided to not buy mainly for that reason. One more thing that no body has mentioned is the clutch play. The clutch play is pretty poor. I had to let go 80% of clutch for it to move. These are major issues for me. I drove the Sonet 1ltr turbo engine and its so much better. Also you are spot on about the flat spots and power delivery issues. Like you said its engine tuning is not up to the mark, thats probably because to achieve better mileage. But i was disappointed as the on paper specs doesn't translate in to real world.

Yeah then TAT shouldn't give a Turbo petrol model for the Nexon. This will be discussed if we are paying for a turbocharged model. If you want practical usage, you can obviously buy the other models

django1123 well bro ! Try putting a 1.2L petrol in nexon , the size is bigger its wider as well ! And built is good not like maurti ! If it had a 1.2L 86HP engine the car won’t move ! 😂 If direct fuel injection isn’t there, there there is no extra 20k charge for that ! Plus Fuel injection is not with its bad aspects! Direct Fuel injection are prone to a lot of problems like Hondas early earth dreams model has engine oil dilution and Rings wear out ! Hyundai has had problems with its 1.0L GDI as well! But as of now hyundai has corrected its problem but Honda has only partially corrected its problem! Bottom line is petrol direct injection has time to mature and I don’t want to buy a car now which might burn its rings cause the tech is new and Nobody knows the issues that might exist!

Its good bro ! Pickup is good ! If ur in a wrong gear in city it will pull but will take some time (car is heavier than other so the lag feels more ). But in Right gear there is problem! Even you can skip gears , power band is wide ! But don’t expect it to fly in 5th gear at 40ish !

I came here to learn about the car. I've had enough good talks about the nexon, so I can here for the bitter nit-picks! Faisal is always harsh on cars and bikes, sometimes it gets irritating. But there is no harm in wanting the best of the best of the best. He also knows that he's being harsh on every machine he rides. He is a passionate driver/ rider, not everyone will get that feeling. And That's why I'm here to know about the silliest drawbacks that others don't even consider to acknowledge, because they are so trivial. But you get to know about them in this channel.

I have driven Nexon 1.2 turbo and had a great experience. Sales guy at Tata motors did a great job as he himself took us to a bumpy road to prove that the suspension is perfect for off road and you will feel extremely comfortable on such terrains. The car is absolutely brilliant in terms of comfort and ride. Gear box could be more smoother. Engine noise could be slightly less, but that is really not a concern as it was greatly refined. Music system (Harman) is terrific. I loved this car from Tata Motors. Just too good. Not sure why the reviewer didn't find the suspension and power good. Not fair if the review is biased, because in reality this car is absolutely a perfect package.

When you started driving, at the bumpy road your speed was 1 km -4 km. You are not giving the accelerator and telling that car is struggling. How will it get power when accelerator is not given. It is not an AI machine. everyone have a negative mentality towards tata cars (becuase it is of indian origin) even when they are feature loaded and efficient. . ( you have deleted the very first review of nexon) Later it goes in 100 km/hr in the 3rd gear, then you are telling top end is not good. 3 more top gears are left bro. . The situations in which a car is tested is more important. We can't say that an auto is not taking off the road like a plane...

Bro we a bought petrol nexon in 2019 dec bs4 its good,i drove venue nd nexon on same day yes venue had little better pick up only because it's around 150kg lighter...on it's own nexon petrol really punchy to drive...yes it drives little jerky but after sometime of driving the car one can easily control it.. review was great as always but you were too harsh on the car😅

It's true to some extent, but even if you put 100-120 k.g extra in the venue it will still be the more responsive one in initial stage.Reason is not the power to weight ratio,but the tuning of the engine is not very best in nexon.

I have old Nexon and same problem with 3rd Gear... it doesn't settle properly and sometimes come back to Neutral automatic. I love to rev the petrol engine in midrange in 1500-3500 rpm...it pulls nicely.

Yes you are right bro. Not sure how much acceleration he needs. Bewkoof laga mujhe ye adami. He drives sports cars . Those car's engines are differently tuned and he is expecting the same kind of performance from a nexon What rubbish ....

Bcoz Tata doesn't make good engines even venue has better gearbox(dct) and a better engine

@@upmanyukhanna2289 you should appreciate india cars too. 50 years back, when ford cars were not that good as they are today but even then Americans used those cars. But Indians have a mind set that if something is made in india then it must be rubbish. I understand that tata cars have a bad reputation in past but now time has changed . Please check the sale figure of August 2020 of tata cars. There is a drastic chnage. Now if people will see that tata has now good sale figure then they will start cursing for after sale service. Okay it's fine . Even all foreign cars dealers have india mechanics and issues come in those cars too. Do you aware of a scam of VW where they were passing all the cars without checking proper pollution test. Please check it too. I am not saying tata cars are perfect but my point is we have to change our mind set. If something was wrong few years back then it doesn't mean it will be wrong today too.

These are the things which i would like to see it in the next Nexon face lift 1. Improved turbo petrol engine like Sonet / Venue. 2. More engine options like their competitors. 3. Bigger touch screen. 4. Improved exterior design..rear design definitely needs to be improved. 5. Black interiors..Hate tat beige one.. 6. Some extra goodies like wireless charger, front ventilated seats, 9 speakers set up n front parking sensors n rear charging port etc..

I drove the new Nexon some time ago. It has such nice build quality and weight ( without a doubt safest car in the segment ) but finishing is still far from perfect. I cannot understand why they can't just hire some ex-toyota or hyundai engineers to work on the finishing department. In the TD vehicle I drove, the plastic cladding which hides the seat rails was very loose, some squeaks were coming from driver side door and from left corner of dashboard. I don't know if it is all fixed in next generation of Tatas, like the altroz, I haven't driven one yet properly, if anyone who test drove altroz can comment, would be helpful.

It is not as easy as changing employee's, its the deep routed culture within every company and to change them needs some time. Or change of the whole top mangers in that department who bring in the philosophies from the other companies.

Every engine has its own characteristics...every one has to make bonding with its own machine...for that you have to spen time with your machine....but built quality does matters boss
