The Tata Nexon was launched last year after a lot of anticipation and it comes across as a very promising compact SUV. But does it have what it takes to rival the likes of established competitors like the Ford EcoSport?
Both the SUVs are feature loaded. While the Nexon gets 1.2-litre petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engines, both mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox, the Ford EcoSport gets a 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 5-speed manual gearbox and a 1.5-litre, 3-cylinder Dragon petrol engine which gets either a 5-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT.
