I am first Punch EV owner from nagpur MH I drove 1500+ KM till now and i am getting a very good range of 290 - 360 depending on city and highway and AC on and off Never got range below 280 no matter how bad i drive Extremely satisfied with my EV ❤️

Sir, I have bought Punch EV 3 months back. Day by day, the range (with AC on) increased from 250 to 300km (with energy efficiency 110-120). We live in north India and during extreme hot weather (40 degree+), the range decreased to 200-210, and energy efficiency increased to 160 (shocking). The climate system is consuming more battery (what I have observed!). Means, range has now decreased from 300 km to 200-220 km, i.e. more than 80-90 kms, which is a big figure! On the other hand, my driving behavior has improved from 7 to 8 (so range should increase, right ?). My daily kilometer calculations are being disturbed and now I am charging my car 3 more days in a month (consuming more electricity). This reduced range issue is also with one of my known, who is also using same PUNCH EV car. One thing more, this issue is not with my friend's Nexon EV, as it's range is reduced by 30-40 km only (during peak summers). Sir, I have approached Tata, but their response is not satisfactory. I have also shared my driving behavior figures, range display screenshots with them. What to do, please help!!
Please talk about lithium Iron battery charge cycle .. I think the battery that Tata uses has more than 5000 cycles minimum means by 5000 cycles the overall capacity will remain 80% so these batteries can run for 5000* 300 KM = 15,00,000. 15 lakh km. No issue.

Ha agar sach me kuch sochne layak bat agar hai to ye hai ki charging point me kitna time lagega charging me bas .. baki to ICE car wala hisab kitab hai agar logically socho to.. Aur rahi bat battey replace karne ki to ye to wohi baat Hui alien exist karta hai ki nahi kiyuki battery replacement wala Kam kisine abhitak karwaya bhi nahi kiyuki kisine wo threshold cross he nahi Kiya abhitak

Dear Moterbyte I am from Lucknow UP and own two EV of Tata , bought Nexon EV max on June 2023 and now had bought Tiago EV XT LR in February 2024 .Nexon is giving me range around 370 km in city and Tiago is giving me 265 km in city .

Aur hum bahut jaldi Solar pannel system 10kw wala laga rehe hai ghar ke upar. 20kw hybrid bettry bhi lagayege. Hmare ghar ki chatt bahut badi hai. Tata Punch EV ke sath EV scooty and EV cycle bhi lenge hum. Ghar ka load aur Gaddiya ki charging hum Solar Pannel se karege. Aur hmare pass abhi bhi Tata Indica 2007 V2 diesel model hai jo 1 lakh 75 hzar killometer chala di hai.

Your per year running will be 6000 to 7200 kms fuel cost will be 60000~ 72000 per year, maintaince/service cost will be 15000~20000, total yearly cost will be 75000~92000. In ten years your fuel cost with this running will be 750000~ 920000
One might argue that fuel cost will be lower then Rs 10 as there millage is far better, but I have calculated fuel price as constant. The the variation gets nullified
Don't buy punch ev , had very bad experience , car brake down on the day of delivery not even cross the Showroom gate. It had brake vibration, drl was not properly fitted, steering was tilted. You cannot trust it.
EV's haven't got the expected boom...there are various shortcomings in terms of the infrastructure and also the government subsidies...besides the doubt after 8 years looms the most among the average buyers...These shortcomings is bothering the companies...hence the price cut to lure the customers....

Now let me naswer your second question. price sut to lure the customer is not correct. actually prices of Lithium batteries cells have come down globally, and companies are giving this benefit directly to thier customers. i think i am able to clear your doubts now
To add to what you team Aman ji said. Registration cost of ice cars is around 10% where as in case of ec it's almost nil. I am speaking about Delhi only. This might be different in different states
I was totally against evs, but more I think and calculate overall running+buying cost, evs make more and more sense... I only see one gripe, if you move frequently and stay on rent then you need to constantly find solutions for charging! Otherwise wothout any doubt getting an ev make a lot of sense!
Within just like smartphone price reduced as the years passes , this will happen same in case of EV cars and might it will comes in cars like Alto etcetera
As a EV supporter... love your videos. The owner is well informed just like all ev owners. Range anxiety is so overrated. Im yet to see a stranded ev in the city. Infact its impossible to drive 250kms in the city in one day. Where EVs trump ICE are the three 'R's Renewable, recyclable and regen. None of it is possible with fossil cars

350 ki range with AC is over-achievement with Punch ..... I can believe with 300 ... anything above that is BONUS ... Because if it starts giving 350 then Nexon is of no use !!
please give update about punch.ev subsidy in Gujarat?? i ask to Gujarat digital platform but they said u have to talk with dealer. a mailed the same thing to tata customer care but thay didn't give a satisfied answer or source to resolve this problem. i want to buy after confirmation about subsidy. so please help
TATA Should combine the lower powered motor 80HP with the 35kWh Battery pack to increase the practical range. It will reduce cost also. So much power & torque in city conditions not required for normal commuters. Customers will like this combination more, it can reduce the range anxiety with further increase in practical range.
They have a hugh R&D team of engineers who are working day and night on simplifying technology and increasing the battery range, dont you think this thing must have come in thier mind too.
