Thusharji is full of zest and energy. The kind of positivity that you both dissipate is simply amazing. 3 persons with an average weight of 70 will make it more than 200 kgs and with full AC on and an average speed of 70, you are getting close to 290 kms is an excellent range. Your channel is probably the only one which gives a very big push for EV cars. There was one channel Noise Faktory which is no longer producing any videos. Hats off to you. I will be booking a Punch EV in the coming months.
Bilkul sahi.. 80-100 is a practical speed for a real world range test. I don't agree with this 60-70 speed. Most people don't have the patience.. Even the roads are so good now a days that it attracts users to drive a little higher.. Gadkari ji khud 140 ki speed se gaddi chalwaye hai highways pe fir batate hai news channels ko. 😂😂
Guys stop giving random numbers... 😂😂😂 Agar yeh agar vo to vo ... Jo hai vo hai .. 220 se zada mat expect Karo ... Stop giving people wrong expectations... It will spoil their experience after buying .. they should go in with correct expectations... TOTAL BATTERY 35000WH (lest assume we only travel when batter is 90%+ and only travel upto when battery is 10%) then the effective battery is 28000( ~80% of 35KWh) and economy as you drove 115KW/ Km Then the range we can expect is 28000/115 = 243Km But I am assuming people wont drive ghoda like gadha so they may use 125kw/km so the rane will be even lower ~ 224Km Guys please dont buy based on high expectations shown in these videos... Please try rent it first and drive it buy self.
High price high problems. EV dose not deserve high price. It's just change in technology but with high problems. China is country that is providing benifit to buyer. EV scooter that is priced 1.5 lakh in India same range EV scooter price 35 thousand in Rs in China. India is sample producer country, businessmen in India want to sell less and charge huge profit. China is opposit sell more at low cost and gain profit. Both countries are on different track, China is producing technology for people. India sample producer. Europe area producer. China global producer.

Doing range test at a average speed of 60-70 KMPH does not makes sense on highways it would have been more authentic if would have been done on 80-100 KMPH which is the practical speed for highways. Although the efforts are appreciated other wise great work.
Hello mamas, it actually does make sense. First of all it was like a city traffic on Highway on which we drove secondly, more than 90% of time the average speed of one who will be driving this car will be 60-70 only .
My Citroen Ec3 gave 250 kms with AC (70-80 kms/hr) and full Load of 5 and with luggage. It has 30 Kw battery so its a good range you got, every ev give similar range.

100 kms se bhi zyada range gap hai claimed range se...not impressed! Jo 300 kms bhi chal nahi paya usko 400+ kms range claimed karne ki kya jarurat thi TaTa ko! 350 kms claimed range ho toh tik tha. Jhoot bolna to TaTa se sekho
Highways with regen 2 mode . At 60-70kph gives for sure 340+ km range. Thwre is a Tamil channel which tested at constant 60-70kph. They ended up getting 350+ km in a single charge. If you know to ride effeciently with 25-26 degress AC..not less than that..youll get good range. Also opening the windows and driving without AC is reallly a bad idea in highways. As there is drag created and reduces the range So have AC at 25-26 degress
Mr. Prem I hope you must have seen the entire video. I don’t know about Tamil telugu channel, all I know is we did the best possible way to test the range. AC does make an impact but cannot make a difference of 50kms. Also we cruised throughout at 60-70 with 3 people in the car because that di make a lot of difference. If we were 2 people then definitely we would got more than 320-330 range. And one advice for you never run on regen 2 when you are on highway. Because regen helps you when you drive in city. So always keep on regen 1 or 0 on Highway
Aap ye batao ghode ko 16:26 tej ghode ki tarah hi chalaye to ye kitna chalegi. Aap ek range test aur kijiye jisme agar koi sab kuch bhool ke chalaye jaise hum abhi apne fuel car ko chalate hain.. to practically, minimum range kitni ho sakti hai?
Seriously? driving at 60 kmph for cruising on a highway and you call this a practical real world review? Don't you think that anywhere between 90 - 120 kmph is the practical and sweet spot for cruising on a highway for Indian roads?
Boss even we know what is the right speed to cruise on a highway, if you have seen the video completely we have talked about it various times in the video as well. but if you have to see the maximum rangeof the battery you need to test it on such speed this is what ARAI does as well, so kindly see the video first before commenting
Firstly I don't understand much Hindi so I wouldn't been able to understand it even if you had discussed it multiple times in the video. Secondly, people who are realists like me wouldn't expect reviewers to show how much max range we can get when ARAI has already thrown a number for that, what we actually need is the real-world use case scenario just like how you would usually drive the car and show us whether the range would be sufficient enough. Why do you want to reinvent the wheel by doing what ARAI has already done? and of course, I post comments only after watching the video but if you are taking a long time to deliver simple information then yes people will always rush forward your videos. So yes it will be better if you start considering the comments as constructive criticism rather than debating about it @@MotorByte
Sweet spot for energy consumption per km is 70-80 kmph. Speed higher than this would have more consumption of power and hence lesser range. If we consider average consumption of power for speed of 80, as 115 wh/ km then, 35kwh ki battery full charge me degi 304 km ki range. ( 35000 wh divided by 115 wh)
Sardar ji eek baat bataiya who tells you about a car for only one person drive.....i think its for family please correct that man.. please make a video for full capacity of seat ..why you people are making fools, we buy a car for only one person....why i am mot buying a bike.....that man crazy.....make a video & test the range for full capacity of seat... please......
Sir, I have bought Punch EV 3 months back. Day by day, the range (with AC on) increased from 250 to 300km (with energy efficiency 110-120). We live in north India and during extreme hot weather (40 degree+), the range decreased to 200-210, and energy efficiency increased to 160 (shocking). The climate system is consuming more battery (what I have observed!). Means, range has now decreased from 300 km to 200-220 km, i.e. more than 80-90 kms, which is a big figure! On the other hand, my driving behavior has improved from 7 to 8 (so range should increase, right ?). My daily kilometer calculations are being disturbed and now I am charging my car 3 more days in a month (consuming more electricity). This reduced range issue is also with one of my known, who is also using same PUNCH EV car. One thing more, this issue is not with my friend's Nexon EV, as it's range is reduced by 30-40 km only (during peak summers). Sir, I have approached Tata, but their response is not satisfactory. I have also shared my driving behavior figures, range display screenshots with them. What to do, please help!!
@@karanjadhav4597 nai Sir. Everything is working fine. Whenever I get bugs. I usually turn off the car and restart it. Only two times have I received bugs so far. The indicator beeps very fast then usual and Dashboard map not loading. Happened only once
I feel, if you cruiz at 75-80, it'll give same range, the sweet spot on highways is 80kmph... Also, I feel weight doesnt matter that much since more weight adds inertia and when you use cruiz control it'll compensate for the acceleration! So fair to say this is the ideal range (if you squeez the battery to fullest)...

Sir, then as per your earlier video review of MG Comet which I saw just now as you said you had done... I think Tata's Punch EV's rage of LR version is too less and surely range anxiety will surely develop.... In starting of the trip itself the odo meter was showing less KMS..... Which usually it should not sir..... So after this video I seriously liked what ranges the MG Comet gives..... As per your video only. Sir, why is it so?? Is it because of battery technology? .... Please do explain now I'm serious intrested and very curious about it.... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-vlSBEdKqG6A.htmlsi=ICkzw9sga6MC1p8G
EV ka main issue range hai he nahi kiyuki ye same gadi petrol pe shayad 20 ka mileage de degi usko full tank range calculate karlo.. lekin petrol ya CNG me ek advantage hai ki maximum 20 minute me full ho jayegi wahi par EV 7 hour legi yehi actual anxiety hai
Hope all of you had very fun filled journey. The conversation was not only informative but also very entertaining hope to see Tusharji again and again in your channel. How was the ride altogether did you feel tired and exhaustive as compared to ICE vehicle as you travelled so long in an EV. Would love to know these aspects as well :) Good job again Aman bhai 👌👍👏
@MotorByte if you compare model to model price diff is 6lakhs, The way you are driving it will cost maximum 6rs per kmpl , so it will take 100,000 km to make the cost. For an average person 10000 kms a year is what you can consider, so it will take 10 years to compensate. In 10 years the 5 lakhs extra amount will become 10 lakhs even in FDS, so more 5 lakhs loss, to compensate that you will have to run the car for more 8 years, after that you will earn profit from EV, and at that time there will be no warranty and battery will be gone, so Not worth it
I just gave the calculation, we should be honest about the present condition of EV in india. It is not possible to become a first car for a hard working middle class, it is definitely a good second car for a rich class of people in terms of money they make .
My Citroen Ec3 gave 250 kms with AC (70-80 kms/hr) and full Load of 5 and with luggage. It has 30 Kw battery so its a good range you got, every ev give similar range.
A very good range test. Next time please mention the average speed. Won't recommend going below 10% on Tata cars as it can trigger the HV error and leave you stranded. The sweet spot for range is between 75-90kmph. Anything above 100 will drastically reduce range. Cruise control only makes sense one flat roads. On flyover inclines..it will consume even more
