@@Iz_zy2099 Yeah. I wish they could make another MvC game but Capcom would probably have difficulties on contact with Marvel now since it's now owned by Disney.
@@ghostrider3723 During an interview for 'Street Fighter 6', Nakayama & Matsumoto stated that; if they were to make another crossover game, they'd want to collaborate with DC or Marvel Comics. There's still a chance.
Actually, this tune is way more suited for Japanese fighting games. It would not fit much an anime's action scene. If anything, it screams "Japanese badassery".
I always like Batsu as a Character but I fell even more in love with him when I found out he had the same voice actor as Link (From legend of Zelda Orcarina of Time) NIce theme, It's awesome!
In other words if Link could talk he would sound EXACTLY like Batsu. Hiyama is one of my all time favorite JP VAs, with my favorite roles being Batsu, Bass, Link, Demitri, Joe Higashi, Siegfried, Hiei, and Erdrick
This guy should had been in the Street Fighter Alpha games. Would be a great connection between Street Fighter and Rival Schools since Sakura was also in United by Fate (Rival Schools 1) but not Project Justice (Rival Schools 2).
Since Rival Schools and Darkstalkers are underrated Capcom games, they should make a comeback soon. Also, these two games could exist within the street fighter universe. That's what they did to Poison from Final Fight in street fighter 4. Capcom did tease Haggar in SFXT
+Fernando Rosales I unfortunately doubt that. I think that people like Felicia, Talbain, and even Demitri would've been noticed at this point. If Capcom is desperate enough, they'll dig up Darkstalkers as a response to Mortal Kombat. It could be a lot more brutal. These guys are monsters, no holds barred. I'd play it :-)
***** You could do that too. But I feel like that only works in a 2D sprite game. Switch to 3D models and it gets disturbing. If they take them out, it will water down the experience. I would love MvC4 BTW but Demitri can never be in a crossover ever for two reasons: 1. Midnight Bliss (his ultimate move) 2. Due to Reason 1, having to animate and rig every character with a cute female model (even cuter for the female characters). -------- If you're a Darkstalkers fan, you know I'm not making this up. Midnight Bliss makes Demitri's opponent into a cute female (because he's a picky vampire) and he sucks them dry of their blood. I still want Capcom to troll us with an SFV character named Rock. He is a teen genius, who loves old school video games, wears goggles, a shirt with with a blue-can graphic (with an "E" imprinted), and fights with a blue arm cannon he's doing some field tests with. If they aren't gonna' give us Mega Man, they may as well try to make him work better, and more realisticly, in Street Fighter.
ZER0 1nfinity I agree with you with the Midnight Bliss thing, but there was a crossover game where they just didn't show the characters and made the screen go black during his ultimate. They did show blood,however
Reaper679 Sega Dreamcast had the sequel to this game, coincidentally: 'Project Justice', but maybe they released that game later for other platforms?...not sure.
its kick ass to play rival school characters again.Still got my rival school game for dreamcast playing for the wii is cool. Tatsunoko gaming needs to make a come back
Ahhh! So many memories, sega dreamcast is the only console that i have to buy twice because i played so much this game that i over heated. Rival school... hell yeah!

Rival Schools was in the arcade on what was basically a PS1 in an arcade cabinet. It also got an actual PS2 release, which was probably a matter tweaking, and little else. The PS1 version got an extra disc with more characters. A japanese only semi-sequal for the PS1 and a true sequal called Project Justice was released for the Dreamcast. I have no idea if Project Justice was in arcades. I'd guess yes, but perhaps in Japan only.

@DoomedAbyss That's actually.....an incredibly good idea. Sean is around Sakuras age, and Sakura has been in the Rival Schools series, so it makes perfect sense. Plus, you get interaction between SFA and SFIII characters. Then there's the SakuraxRyu and KenxSean factor. Fandoms usually spout out rearded ideas, but that was pretty good.
Thats what Ive been doing so far. XD Phoenix Wright was originally intended to be one of the new characters for American release. One of his main attack was suppossed to be OBJECTION that flew across the screen, sadly, in Japan, it would have been fine, seeing as how its 1 to 3 characters, but when translated, it becomes a whole 9 characters. They felt it overpowered and scrapped him.

u guys know that the rival schools games and final fight games both take place in the street fighter universe. So if capcom dont got any ideas of making a new rival schools they can put some ppl from rival schools into the new street fighter gamee jus like they did with cody and guy in super street fighter 4. or marvle vs capcom 3 would be cool 2 see batsu and guy in 2
Well, the producer did talk about wanting to have eight more characters so they could pass MvC2's number but they were forced to rush it for a holiday release. At the very least I'm sure this means UMvC3 will see some DLC characters. I'd say Batsu still has a slight chance.
Megaman and Batsu. Both people who reach to the hearts and souls of gamers everywhere. Capcom, you have presented little to no evidence why these games have ceased by fault of the players, and you think we would rather have Devil May Cry... OBJECTION!!!
