Hertz is actually more accurate than Volts that is why we find it more superior You as a tattoo artist knows which Voltage in a machine you're comfortable with, was just googling what artist think about Voltage, amp and hertz and that brings me to this channel which explains it all🤘🏻

North American devices all run at 50-60 Hz. There is no adjusting that. Amperage is the net rate of flow of electricity. Voltage is the amount of pressure or current.

Hertz is your frequency and you have a wider range than 50-60 Amperage, is the flow of electric current or the amount of electrical charge passing a point in a circuit per second. And yes Voltage, is the electrical pressure that pushes electric current through a circuit. 👍

Yup and also if you change your stroke remember it will not change the hz read out but your machine will be running faster with a shorter stroke and slower with a longer stroke at the same hz /voltage reading. Its a cool ball park but yea not perfect yet. People like hz read outs because its how you used to measure the speed of coil Machines to. 90 hz color 110hz shade 120-140 hz line work as a ballpark starting point but most artists now will just work 1 speed for the whole tattoo

I actually filmed me talking about the stroke lengths changing the hz but then the video got super long so I cut that footage out 😂 I figured it was a lot in one video for people to take in. Im going to have to make a whole video in itself explaining stroke length. Thanks for being awesome man, I appreciate all your comments on my videos!

@AdamDARKLORD always look forward to your content. Excited to hear more about the new sol nova and how it's two responsive modes feel I had the unlimited and I liked responsive mode on it alot more than the flux /max I never use it on the fks but Cheyennes mode it felt good on the unlimited

I call cap sir. I used coil for 20yrs. I use wireless pens now however. I used the same power supply with my original tattoo pens. Same power supply yet the pens always hit softer. So this idea that it’s not the pen it’s the power supply is well cap! The added spring to the cartridge is a dampener. So coil with standard needles are so different from pens with carts thats why og’s have trouble adjusting in most cases
@adamdarklord
@adamdarklord 2 месяца назад
No cap, Torque makes a difference and not all pen machines have good motors in them.

@@adamdarklord obv but it aint solely why us og’s have trouble making the switch broski. You can run same amp on both and coil with shaft needle will hit harder

I’m just starting out and I have the dragon hawk beginners it’s a white one and it starts at 6 and goes to 12 I think and it keeps on going to the highest when I’m practicing it won’t stay at 6 keeps jumping up and idk how to keep it at the same spot! Any ideas?

So do you know what the hertz compared to voltage is on the bishop wand packer I’ve tried to ask them and they said they don’t know
@adamdarklord
@adamdarklord Год назад
I have no idea 🤷‍♂️ I honestly don’t get to excited anymore with Bishop. They refuse to even sell the bigger grips anymore because it forces people to buy the overpriced disposal grips. They’re always the last company to innovate. It doesn’t surprise me one bit if they couldn’t tell people the hertz on their machines.

You are so far off about electric ... Also coil machine does not take more amps 2 amps peak is more than you need a coil machine takes 05 amps ... Go to skull

@@adamdarklord ok , so motor works on power (watts) not on voltage( tension) and amps (current) separately. Motor has nominal ratings for power (power=tension x current) this is how it is built for normal condition with expected load , peak is not something you should take in consideration as a user because you should use it within nominal range, if you don t you are not tattooing you are cutting skin. Peak (somewhat 😳👎) reefers to what will cause imediat damage to motor.so (somewhat) not having anough voltage for the load will try to draw amps to compensate (p=UI) and warm up the coils in the rotary or coil machine, that will also cause temporary magnetization of the core and by that imbalance in magnetism because you now have a magnet instead of iron. Rotary users are lazy, and lose a lot of comfort while tattooing. Work in spark✊😬..oh and there is no ideal circuit so a rotary that has range of voltage is a sloppy circuit, while coil machine you can adjust the "non ideal".
