Great video, I've been spending a lot of time watching your videos and playing DaC!!! I have a Gondor Campaign and an Imladris Campaign going. Gondor is very doable, and you were very right, if you push Minas Ithil and retake it early, it makes for a fairly easy play through. Imladris really has trouble with money though.. Forts are huge for them to keep the upkeep down. Note on this particular video: You don't need a general to create units. You can also pull them directly into cities. But yes, not into armies outside of a city without a general.

Great idea for a video :) Only one thing I'd suggest and that would be to add some timestamps in the description for when you talk about certain things so that this video could be used for a sort of reference.

the cheat codes are something i'd always love to learn. Maybe sometime do a video on battle shortcuts too? there are some shortcuts used in battle that i'm not sure about

For a some of the commands cou can hover over the unit you want and instead of using the name you can use "this". Doesn't work for all, but useful if the names are complicated or you use it in other mods where their name is not that same as in game.

You can create units in settlements btw You don't need a general in the settlements when you create the units also

How to i give traits and stuff to generals and also change there body guard

I’m having trouble with diplomatic cheats. I’d like to do an in game cheat that allows a dwarves/elven war. Evil men vs Orcs etc. basically wars between the winners that would be somewhat balanced or lor related. Ex saruman keeps dunlendings and wins over mountain orcs. Just to play around a bit. I’m having problems with the diplomatic_stance cheat. Any suggestions?

You can create units to settlements too, as can be seen in the console after a garrison script is triggered.

You dont have to write the comma in the move character command, you can just a space instead

Galu I would like to report a simple typo. The wordings when you have 8 standing with sauron, when you hover over it it says "mordors" instead of "mordor".

if you want to make an ö you can simply press the " key nothing will appear and then the character you want which means press " + O = ö no need to learn the keybinds for that character same goes for characters lik ó press ' and then O

How do you use console to either force a peace or war between two factions? I've been trying to get the Blue Mtns. to declare war on Enedwaith but I'm not sure what the command is, and if I need to use the faction name or the Med2 factions they're built on.

On 16:43 you don't need to put "," just press space. Just saying :D On settlements with accents, you just have to search in "Google" If you have forgotten about It. Go to one that needs to be typed in Numpad Keys, It works. :D Alt + 0251 = û On the money cheat, you can only add 40000 at a Time. If you typed 50000, you'll still get 40000. and "Create Unit" Cheat works on Settlements as well, Just type the Name of the Settlement. Oh, and If some of you are having trouble like me, getting the Names right for the Characters then.. for ones with titles like, Steward Denethor, Khan Arkish etc. You only need to type the First name however, if the Character has 2 then add " In between. Ex: create_unit "Faramir YadahYadah" "Sigmarines" 1 9 5 5. and there's also "add_traits" and "give_ancillary". Hope It Helps!

I just played a massive battle in Rivendell, but three trash enemy units are stuck on an inaccessible ledge, keeping me from winning the battle after I routed the massive main force (I turned off battle time limits). Is there a console command to kill all enemy units in a battle? They attacked me, so even though I won the battle, if I exit, it'll count as lost and Elrond will die. Hence why I need to cheat a win.

how do I fix my historical battles they wont work.
