Did they use the phrase "face card" back then? Something tells me ppl think that things were better back then because that phrase wasn't popular the way it is now I like my own face btw if that's a concern
Never understood why this song wasn’t bigger, very underrated. For those who don’t know, the saxophone synth is sampled from the late Bobby Caldwell’s ‘what you won’t do for love’ which, the chorus was also sampled by Tupac’s ‘do for love’. Bobby passed away this week.
I didn’t know that she did this track until today. Was listening to some old school r&b & this song was aprt of the mix. This song is so underrated because it was not promoted
I was born in 86 and the music was great. Still lots of shit about. But the good stuff always stays. Michael Jackson was amazing... will smith was funny as always. Cars were more fun back then too. I think 90s US was better. New jack swing.. brandy. Toni braxton.. al b sure.. after 7... etc
just because it's from the 90's doesn't mean it's good. she's trying for notes she can barely hit. easily outclassed by the other 100's of songs made from the period
😂 in England we had a rumour that she was her sister... Then Chilli done the finding her family on a talk show (I think Sally Jessy Raphael) & it took awhile to see it📺 Our Rumour Ended🤦🏾♀️ lol
Fresh Prince being on Netflix reminded me that Tatyana had a mini singing career... and now I'm here... looking at this in all it's 90's goodness. Sigh* God bless the Internet!
Tatyana Ali is a pretty black woman.. We were born same year and I was in love with Ashley and her long beautiful hair.. I hope her children watched Fresh Prince.. Oh how the years go by
Ohhhh Yes! Excellent R&B music. Excellent singer, she worked very well on the series with Will Smith. If she continues her singing career, it will be great. I'm a fan!
@@ch36799 He was not the producer of the song tho. It was StoneBridge and Kelly Price who produced it. He's credited for writing his rhyme but that's it.
remember when i was a child, at my hometown (Dakar), watching this before going to school ... all these songs full of positivity, as "Survivor" from Destiny's Child, "Top Of The World" from Brandy & Mase, "Fantasy" from Mariah, etc. CHILDHOOD MEMORIES
5/13/17 saturday.. The sound of 90's. I really really really really really really really really really really really really really really MISS those days. 90's can you please come back?please? :.(
Will was so cool back then. he was the definition of cool. Now it's sadly all gone. I can't bring myself to like Will today. It's sad for him but I wish him all the best.
WOW this pops up just as I decide to look for good old songs OMG AND WILL SMITH IS IN THIS TOO! He even started with the first line from Summertime, ahhh I wanna cry. He also started his verse in the song Got To Be Real with "I pulled up to the" to make it sound like The Fresh Prince Of Bel-Air last verse.
