Little extra tip. Prime your model gray or white to help while painting tans/whites over it. It’ll cut down on streaking and you’ll have to apply less layers to get solid colors

Could you use a premade made wash like Vallejo sepia or umber instead of mixed dark rust?
@FlyingRavenStudios
@FlyingRavenStudios Год назад
Good question. Yeah I guess so (as I haven't used that particular wash). But in principle, I can not see why not. If you are talking about the wash stage before applying the camouflage colours, you are just trying to add a light colour variance to the base colour. So if you can fade it out in areas, you are good to go

What did you use for the black panel lining? Did you have to vanish it and then panel line it or just panel line is straight with whatever you used?
@FlyingRavenStudios
@FlyingRavenStudios Год назад
Good question Simon. In this case, I didn't varnish and I just thinned a black acrylic paint down till it is able to wick along the recess

I may be wrong but it looks like you built the drone backwards.

I don't think so.... but if I did then its a deliberate kitbash 😁

@@FlyingRavenStudios I also did that with my first one lmao, I think you put the gun upside down and the main body backwards. It is kind of a vibe tho ngl
