Hi, Can you please suggest i sold 10 shares at Rs.376.50 but below taxes have been applied by UPStock broker. Are these correct or are they taking a lot of taxes as my net output is being calulated now from rs373.50 due to this..They have deducted more than Rs.25 as taxes for selling 10 stocks. Is this correct or they are charging heavily? This is my first time trading thus i am confused. PAY IN / ( PAY OUT ) OBLIGATION -3,761.49 -3,761.49 [IGST 18% On Charges] 3.35 3.35 [STT-DEL.] 3.76 3.76 [STT-RND] 0.24 0.24 [TURNOVER CHG*] 0.12 0.12 [DEMAT TRAN CHG*] 18.50 18.50 Net Amount (-) receivable by client / (+) payable by Client -3,735.52 -3,735.52 They also took 5rs as taxes when i bought these shares at Rs. 369.50 Total taxes Rs. 31 for buy and sell of 10 stocks.

@@manali1018 no it's not taxable, Beacuse you don't having any fixed income to be on tax slab, Suppose if you are getting 10k monthly then it's way around 120k for year since you are not in any tax slab then your profit will not taxable till 250000 but if you are earning like 500000 a year from your job and getting 10k from stock monthly then 500000+120000 is comes under 10% tax slab or getting 250000+ profit alone from market is taxable.

So if I earn say 6L a year. I come above 5L bracket right. So I have to pay short term gain 10 on 6L or on 1L bec it's above 5L. I am talking with reference to the normal tax slabs till 5L no tax etc pls explain

I think you missed out two things on bonus tip. First of, the tax saved wont be on the slab rates but on 10% as its fixed. Secondly, there will be certain charges in the form of exit load if we exit a MF before 2 years (as far as I know). Still, I think the tip could be useful despite the points specified P.s. awesome video

@@LabourLawAdvisor hi I have one doubt I purchased a share and its price increased too much so I sold the share in less than 6 month and used the same money to purchase some other stock but the money didn't transferred in bank account,so I am also eligible for stcg or not?

Rachna mam so intelligent and confinement really special quality she have by all point of view . Presentation, personality,and all things comes in mind i was regularly seeing from 2 week 18*7 these finanace and all i found such a integilligent man and women here love you all 🤩🤩🥰🥰🥰 🤗 to motivate to take action for personal finance .
