The reason why Taylor Swift is selling as much as she's ever sold is because she never over-sexualized herself like every other pop artist or just artist in general shes super safe with kids and adults and her songwriting skills are impeccable.
I never got why rappers dont remaster/remix or even remake their old stuff some old songs had questionable mixes weak production etc. It's essentially free money/streams. If kanye announced he was redoing the college dropout even former ye fans wouldn't be able to disregard it.

I don't know why hip hop outlets can't shut up about Taylor Swift of all people. No hating shit, but I just don't care about her or her music. She's irrelevant to hip hop unless she featuring somebody. All power to her, and I expect her to continue to break records and gain accolades, but culturally its so far removed from most people's wheelhouse. She's undeniably one of the biggest artists of all time, but I can only name two of her songs.

You missed the point. He didn’t say that they wouldn’t have been successful, but the incidents created controversy that drew attention to them and gave them more popularity quickly
I’ve been buying JayZ albums forever. He always has some good singles so, I think the albums will be good, but, I cross a major river a few times a day, and I have thrown more JayZ albums into that river crossing over the bridge than any other artist. He has never put out a good album. I don’t listen to TaylorSwift, but, I bet she has done albums her fans can actually listen to from start to finish-something that is impossible with any JayZ album. He doesn’t even have three good songs on any album.
