Taylor Swift's eras tour is about to kick off - let's talk about it! Today I'm sharing my setlist predictions for the eras tour, my absolute dream songs, mashup ideas and all the important info you might want to know. I will say when Ariana toured both albums at the same time (Sweetener & Thank U Next), she was able to fit in 33 songs. Five of these were her older songs put into a medley together. I think this was a really nice way to fit in so many songs. I think she ended up performing for 2.5 hours, so I think this is something Taylor would be able to do as well!

Yeah but it seems like hers had a lot less production than what Taylor shows usually do. You know the visuals will be off the charts and all of those transitions and set ups will take time :,)

I also think Ariana has more choreography than Taylor, so 33 songs is still a lot for an artist doing all the choreography, but I don’t want to compare them! I love them both, and all of the shows I’ve been to of theirs are fantastic!! :)

the sweetener tour was 1hr 36 mins on average for most of the shows on the tour. The album songs (Sweetener & Thank U Next) were on kinda short less than 3 mins long on average.

I was just thinking of how beautiful it would be if Taylor would someday play gold rush as a closing song. i think the most artistic and logical way to do the setlist was chronologically, but i don’t know something about the chaos of having no idea what era you’re gonna dive into next/how many bits she will divide each era into and how she’d scatter them would be incredible

I’d pay $50 extra to hear Marjorie. I think it’s one of her most beautifully written + composed songs. It’s one of her only songs about grief and loss, but it’s also a love song dedicated to her biggest musical influence/supporter growing up (and she is arguably at the peak of her music career right now so it would all be so beautiful to feel.) I love everything about that song❤️

enchanted being mentioned in the announcement got me thinking... what if, in the middle of the concert during a costume change, there would be a video playing which shows Taylor meeting her fans throughout her career, maybe even showing the audience in the stadium while the line 'I was enchanted to meet you' are scattered throughout the clips. after we all have a good cry, she'll come back on stage in the purple dress and starts singing the bridge til end. I think her recent appearance on The 1975 show kinda gave us a glimpse of what to expect, specially in terms of her outfits for the tour. She had folklore hair and wore a speak now or 1989 sorta dress which makes me think that she wouldnt be making a lot of costume changes or at least wouldn't be making one for every era. Before i thought she would divide her shows by era, each having a costume or visual change, but now i think its more likely she'll divide it in themes just like many suggested: Falling in love, Falling Apart, Fantasizing about revenge, Self loathing and wondering about what mightve been

If she has a history of saying hi to the fans when she opens, imagine the lights go off and then in the silence we hear “it’s me ✨hi✨” haha there’s so many options. Honestly I don’t even know how she chose because I could design at least 5 entire amazing concerts from all the ideas I’ve heard. As a fan since debut who’s never been able to go to one of her concerts, I am very excited to have tickets to eras. I’ve never been to a TS concert or any stadium concert in general so I’d be happy with anything! But my dream songs are better man, wildest dreams (but with the original backing track and not just the piano), and long live as the closer.

I wanted to include: Tim McGraw, Mr. Perfectly Fine, Fearless, Back to December, The Story of Us, Out of the Woods, New Romantics, Getaway Car, DBATC, mirrorball, gold rush, evermore, right where you left me, Midnight Rain, and Question…? so bad however the 25 spots filled up so quickly!! I hope we get If This Was a Movie and Eyes Open as Surprise Songs because it is a federal crime Taylor has never played ITWAM live and confirmed the bridge lyrics. Also, I just really love Eyes Open and can’t wait to hear the pop rock instrumental on the Taylor’s Version recording (which should be with Speak Now)!

Because it's Eras Tour, she's probably trying to do as many songs as she can. I think mashups will be key. They will either blend by topic or be grouped based on sound whether its production or melody. PRODUCTION/MELODY: lavender haze x i think he knows maroon x king of my heart labyrinth x the archer question x out of the woods midnight rain x all you had to do was stay TOPIC: vigilante shit x i did something bad x look what you made me do (probably based on those clips we saw, the topics that come up in the middle of the night)

I saw Bad Bunny at a stadium tour this Summer, he was able to about 45 songs (some of them mashed up) in 2-2.5 hours & even brought guests out, so I'm hopeful she'll be able to do 3-4 songs per era!

I honestly hopes she does what Twenty One Pilots did on their Icy Tour where Tyler played his piano on a B stage (for her it could be the end of the catwalk or something) and he played a medley of songs from every album, starting from the very first one to the most recent one, and he picked one song from each album to briefly sing…..it would just be such a cool way to incorporate every album into this tour without taking up a ton of time, and I would DIE 💞 Also, I need ATW 10 min version, Cruel Summer, and Long Story Short…..literal needs!

Really uplifting videos! ❤️ Regarding fan eras, I wanted to say I fell in love with Taylor when I saw the music video for Begin Again after a long and tumultuous relationship where I ended up moving hours away to finally get clean of him. I was lonely and hearing Taylor's interviews during the red era got my through everything. The first time I saw her live was for 1989 and I cannot wait to see her live again next week!!!

It’s my first time going to a Taylor swift concert and I’m so excited. I have been a Taylor swift fan since the red era, that’s when I became a big fan, I like songs form her first album, fearless and speak now but red was when I became a swiftie, I’m going to the Houston show and I cannot wait because I’m actually from Costa Rica and traveling to the states for the show. The main main thing that I just have to keep speaking into the universe since I couldn’t get tickets is that there is a Documentary/tour diary/show thing. Like the Rep Stadium Tour cause literally I need it. We all need it cause it’s been a crazy ride and she’s had one or something for nearly every album so it would make sense as well. But especially after the debacle with Ticket Master it would be extra magical and the next best thing to actually seeing her live

I’m going to the Saturday tour in Pittsburgh, PA. I can’t wait. My first concert was reputation, and was supposed to go to the lovers tour, but we know that story. I love this sort of stuff, to daydream about the set list Editing to add: this is my first concert with floor seats, and we’re in the 2nd row no less. I would love it broken into “moods” like the falling in love, falling apart, revenge.

This is going to be my first Taylor concert and I couldn’t be more excited! I absolutely need to ATW10 in a stadium full of Swifties. I am with you on many of the options. Cruel Summer, DBATC, The Very First Night and Mr. Perfectly Fine are some of my favorites and I need to scream them all! I also think Long Live and You’re On Your Own Kid closing together would be amazing. She didn’t know where she was going to go when Long Live came out and now YOYOK is from such a huge album where she knows that she has her fans forever.

It made me so happy when you said that the newer fans deserve to hear so many older songs live because I've never been to a Taylor concert and since I'm in the UK, I'm hoping to get tickets when they're finally available. I grew up dipping in and out of her music, I remember loving the song 'Fifteen' when I was about 7 or 8 and watching the music video on repeat and I really liked her music growing up. But I became a hardcore swiftie when folklore came out. I loved 'Lover' and got the vinyl for Christmas but folklore just made me want to listen to her who discography and I'm so happy I did cause now I'm a swiftie and I'm loving it! I just got tickets to opening night, so I'm putting this prediction down here: She will do 13 minutes for each Album through Rep (since she has toured all of these albums) equaling 78 minutes. I'm predicting 1 full song and a medley of three songs for each of these albums. Except Red will be ATW-10m and one other song 😅 For final hour she will split between Lover, Folklore, Evermore, and Midnights. This gives us roughly 4 songs per album. I do think she will maybe only do 3 from Evermore so she can do one more from Midnights. I still need to decide my predictions on specific songs I think she'll do, but I really feel that she will focus on the 4 Albums we haven't had tours the most.

I just want to know when they're going to announce Australian dates and when tickets will go on sale! I saw her for her reputation tour and I was so so happy, but my seats were far at the back (cause that was all I could afford at the time). And don't get me wrong it was still an amazing show! But I always imagined and thought, imagine if I had been those people on the floor, being that close to her omg. So because of that, I said to myself when Taylor tours again, I will do whatever it takes to be on the floor. I just need time to save up lol

ok I had this idea that she could approach midnights as a guide through her discography in the set list. So she'd start with a midnights song that relates to the album and then play a few songs from that album that match thematically or with the sound. For example she'd start with a montage of her growing up to the bridge of YOYOK and then play YOYOK and then 2-3 songs from debut Then Midnight Rain 2-3 songs from fearless WCS 2-3 songs from speak now Maroon atw10m or 2-3 songs from red question/ootw mashup 2 songs from 1989 vigilante shit or karma 2-3 songs from rep lavender haze 2-3 songs from lover dear reader 4-5 songs from evermore and folklore and then end with a midnights song
