Lover is my favorite, however, I get why is not everyone's favorite. A good happy relationship is rare, and less people can relate to that feeling vs how many relate to heartbrake. And sadly, the polical views sided a lot of people.

THANK YOU I am an internet crusader for lover justice 😂 like objectively, the songs are good! The only songs I don’t like are the singles and I swear everyone says they hate it solely bc of those two songs. Lover is my 3rd fav album. Cornelia street, DBATC, false god, I think he knows, the archer, daylight, the man, miss Americana, I could literally go on and on… tbh I think the lover songs (besides the singles) are better than majority of the songs on 1989. The only 1989 song I really love is Clean and the bonus tracks. But I guess it’s obvious, it’s number 3 in my ranking so IMO the songs are overall better than the songs on the albums I rank below it 😂

Also GIRL the “shade” lyric is genius! It’s a parallel to lover. “Lived in the shade you were throwing til all of my sunshine was gone.” - I forgot you existed “Sit quiet by my side in the shade - and not the kind that’s thrown, I mean the kind under where a tree has grown.” - Paris She’s showing how her view of shade went from her thinking negatively about the horrible things people and the media were saying to thinking positively about spending quality time with Joe. It’s actually one of my favorite lyrics from the entire midnights album.

I'm 50/50 with surprise albums. The feeling when she's announced a rerecord but I have to wait I absolutely hate. I know what the songs sound like so I just want it be released straight away so I can enjoy the new versions instead of this massive build up. But when it's an actual new album I love the excitement of waiting and hearing everyones theories on what genre it will be, what the songs will be called, what the theme will be, what the album cover will look like, what the themes will be etc. It's so fun.

Okay so: -reputation: I truly hope we get this later because it’s the most recent (unowned) album of hers -1989: even though midnights is so big I think we can agree that this album changed Taylor’s career and life in a way we still can’t comprehend -Speak Now: I’d actually love for her to release this as her last re-record because she wrote this all by herself and in a way this is truly claiming the skill she’s most known for-her songwriting (storytelling). In many ways I think her entire career even currently is simply her speaking out about whatever is most important to her. -debut: I’m honestly don’t know when she’ll release this but I’m with you that she shouldn’t release it as her last rerecord.

As far as I know, speak now and 1989 have been teased to be her next re-records 1989 was teased in the 'atw: the short film' because the car they were driving was a 1989 model, and speak now was teased in the bejewled music video on the elevator scene, every button color meant a different album and she pressed the button 3 which was purple, there were 13 buttons each color with a re-release appeared twice and the purple button appeared twice, I live for these kind of easter eggs

Now that we know speak now is next, I think 1989 will be after speak now, then debut, then rep. Let’s not forget she wasn’t even allowed to start re-recording rep until this past November, so the likelihood that it won’t come last is low.

At 2:55 in the Karma music video, she's holding a cup with two different colors of nail polish: blue for 1989 (at 8'o clock, probably August) and black for reputation (at 2'o clock, probably February). Also at 0:15, the statue she's standing on is engraved with "MCMLXXXIX" which is 1989.

I just think it’s like kind of quirky and funny and only something that Taylor Swift would write which is why I appreciate it. Even the most people seem to say that it’s like really clunky an awkward. But I think it’s like ridiculous and funny and I think that was why she put it in there. "sit quiet by my side in hte shade" lyric is one of my favourites, its clearly a throwback to the rep/lover era and iLVOE it. its supposed to feel dated imo bc midnights is like a reflection on her life. but one of my unpopular oppinions is that i dont see the hype around Red, i love some of the songs in it ofc but not many of them stick out, it felt more of a transition between her older stuff to her 1989 stuff.

@@AllySheehan Sure. Most of my opinions are unpopular, but one stands out, I think. *drum roll* "Forever & Always (Piano Version) is timeless." It was written at least 10 years ahead of its time. And yes, I know why it was supposedly written then, but it could have easily appeared on Lover, folklore or evermore.

100% agree that reputation should be the last re-recording. I’ve been saying that since she announced she was gonna be re-recording the albums. I also don’t want any of the Taylor’s versions to be surprise drops. I need at least a 2 week notice. I like surprise drops but not when the album is gonna be 26+ songs long. I need time to mentally prepare. Also wanted to let you know Taylor has a concert every Weekend when tour starts except the weekend of April 7th, maybe that’s when we’re getting speak now tv cause I don’t see her releasing it on a day where she has a concert.

And I started screaming at the end when you talked about being able to express your love for Taylor because it’s so common for us swifties not to have like physical Swiftie friends near us. To find a Swiftie in the wild is HARD ! So we all connect through the internet such as swifttok which is where the majority of my Swiftie besties are. I’m like yeah wtf. @@AllySheehan i think she should do reputation next because of everything that happend with scotter and she couldnt because it wasnt five years for reputation but now she can release rep so yeah and 1989 the last because 1989 its really her biggest album top selling album and one of her biggest works (my actual dream that she will relase with every new re-recorded album a two 1989 tracks before the release and after the release like " you can go and listen to speak now taylors version and tommrow u can go and stream clean taylors version")

Objectively, All Too Well is her best work. especially the 10-minute version! Subjectively, it's far from being my favorite song from her. I will always respect it, but I would rather listen to her other works I'm the most excited for the Taylor's version for 1989!! Then, debut. I want to hear taylor's matured voice on those tracks!! Then reputation, it's recent, but the vault tracks are a need!!!!!!!! And lastly, Speak Now.. I have nothing against it, it's just the one I can resist longer without 😅 But I reaaaally can't wait for Haunted Taylor's version

@@maxfrasiers much as i love both versions, i agree. i’m pretty sure it’s the fandom’s most favorite from Red. In my opinion, ATW doesn’t define Red for me. I think of Red as an upbeat fun album. Not like 1989 but somewhat upbeat!

Haven't finished the video yet, have so many things to say but i would love to see Harry perform the correct version of the As It Was Grammy performance because it sounded so good and the part where he got back in and danced with the dancer felt so emotional. i'm sure it would be one of the best performances of the night.

My most unpopular opinion (that’s likely biased bc of a personal experience/relationship) is that It’s Nice To Have A Friend is one of if not the most underrated song of her discography bc it does the same intensely simple and beautiful thing as White Stripes We’re Going To Be Friends. ….and the only reason people don’t see/say this is bc not a lot of people can relate to it and the relatability of her songs is the #1 likeability factor in the fan base. 😶😶

Not gonna lie when Lover first came out in 2019 I only listened to the mainstream songs and didn't really care for it as an era BUT now thanks to the Eras tour a few years later in 2023 I have come to appreciate the era a lot more and even enjoy more of the lesser-known tracks! It is now in my top 5 favorite eras!

Congrats on 50k!! I was so excited for this video when you said it was uploading on insta. Didn’t disappoint :) I definitely agree that I don’t want a double album, don’t want her to end with debut, and don’t want her to surprise drop a re-recording. I did wanna ask you: 1) why do you think she doesn’t do more music videos? I can’t even begin to guess how much a MV costs to make but I just feel like she has the means and creativeness to do so but I feel like she doesn’t make many. 2) do you think if she did rep last she’d do like a reverse and drop it and then disappear? Like cementing that she owns the narrative on her reputation and knows and will fight for the truth and then take a much needed break? Idk just thinking Love the videos!!

I think that she will release Speak Now, then 1989 with some big thing (like fearless and then Red with 10well), then Debut and Reputation whit another big thing.
