This was actually the exhaust I wanted, but I couldn't find it in stock anywhere at the time and ended up going with the Bassani. They look so similar I can't imagine performances is much different. Rad video!
This is an awesome video. I can only imagine the time that went into making this with all the different camera angles. This has got to be some of the best quality out there!
Hey just a follow up in case you haven't added a new set of pipes. I just put on a set of Khrome Werks slash cut slip ons on my 2020 Iron 1200 and I gotta tell you they sound freaking awesome. With out a doubt best sounding slip on I've ever heard on a Sporty.
Good informative videos on the install. Good for you for trying something different but not a fan myself of the TBR. Hopefully it hits the sweet spot for you as you get some miles on it. Enjoy the vids.
@@GreatEgret Honestly I don't think it fits the look of the Sporty and I've never been a fan of the sound of them on Harleys or Metric bikes. I'm currently running Cobra RPTs on my 2022 883 as I've had them before but I'm leaning toward trying the Screamin Eagle Street Canons as I'm not too fond of the decibel level these days on them. I'm also looking at Khrome werks slash cut but I'm thinking they may be just as loud as the RPTs as I'm just looking for a nice low rumble that is just a little bit louder then stock which I think the Screamin eagles might just do. Hey just an FYI if you go with a tuner I wouldn't recommend the V&H FP4 as they only currently only have V&H maps and a few Harley maps loaded on it for the 883. If you can find it you'll be better off with a FP3 version. Sucks that they are pushing the FP4 and making it next to impossible to find the predecessor FP3 as the new version isn't full of a multitude of map options as they of course advertise. Good luck with the build!
I like the Big Radius too. It’s nice to try something different. What’s nice about the TBR is it’s actually not chrome. It’s stainless steel and it will take on a gold color over time.
It sounds so amazing! Especially compared to stock. The dB levels at the end we’re done after a canned map was tuned. Runs amazing. Though I’m curious what it would be like after an auto tune.
How many miles on your original 883 and how many on this one? I've own a rigid mount evo and they have been reliable. Curious how the new ones hold up. Thank you!
I put a little over 30K miles on my original 2017 that I bought new. On this 2016 I bought it with about 3K miles on it and put on about 1000 miles so far. I have a longer trip planned on the 2016 later this summer. If regular maintenance is done and checking critical fasteners often, these Sportys are super reliable.
Thanks man! It’s always hard to judge how long something like this takes without filming it. This took me about eight hours because I needed to set up the camera, lighting, audio, and make sure I’m doing the job right for each shot. That adds time to the whole process. I bet I could knock out the whole installation in few hours because I’ve done this a few times before.
In passing.. I'm the guy who added the Vance shorts... my wife says it was already loud enough but now "it sounds like a beast". Also, what attracted me to your site is your love for the 883... I feel and share your love for it. A real bike! Just sharing... stage 1 has had little impact on MPG.Did headlight. Self molding grips. Better seat + air hawk. More performance no question. Next step... suspension. ... have ideas for rear but suggestion would be welcomed.
Why am I not surprised that when I go looking for a video on Two Brothers Comp-S 2 into 1 Exhaust, I would find one on your channel :D I have been wondering if leaving the heat shields off would be worth it, getting that nice gold color throughout the exhaust, on a blacked out bike with subtle brass highlights where possible. Has it seemed to color pretty evenly?
It actually does look really nice as the heat colors it, and leaving them off for looks would be cool looking, but no way am I riding without heat shields. This bike get hot as it is 😳
I find it funny how my bike and yours have practically nothing in common except the brand name, and yet I still watch every one of your videos. haha. I was wondering, why exactly does everyone use the liquid loctite? I like using the gluestick loctite. Much easier to use and store.
That’s the Memphis Shades Del Ray windshield and the handlebars are the Biltwell Chumps. I cover both in the full series: ru-vid.com/group/PLRA7CrqQbaWIzcVgB-vqi0E_86qeRXs56 Episode one I cover every mod I’m doing. Episodes three and four are dedicated to swapping out the handlebars. And there are links to buy most everything I have done to the bike in the description of every video in the series.
