That is a very chunky August TBR. I’ve read four of those books (the two Austens, Lord of Shadows and City of Fallen Angels) and hope you enjoy them. Persuasion is possibly my favourite Jane Austen - second chance romance. Have fun!

Persuasion is such a good book! Don’t let it discourage you from reading others of hers though. Pride and Prejudice might be the best introduction into her books, however Persuasion is really good and is shorter, so you cannot go wrong either way.
