My channel 8 is AUX 4 to ( I Have the same radio ) and AUX 4 is my turtle mode. So I think I need to choose a different channel right? The AUX's I use are Aux 1 to 4. So I can pick Aux 5 and up. But which channel are those ones?
I just asked this question myself but seeing as you asked this question a year ago and never got a response I'm not hopeful I will get a response either. Did you ever get this figured out?
I have done all and works perfectly on my all drones. So the only warnings I need to pay attention for is "critical signal"??? If I listen it I have to immediately come back. Correct ??? Thanks for all !
hi mate having trouble with my tango 2 as its bound to my qaud but whent press men to go look it only has tango 2 xf and tango wifi ?? have u any ideas please
50% is just what it shows randomly when your controller isn't on - when all your gear is switched on, you will get verbal warnings from your controller when you have a weak connection, I probably would start worrying around 40%... depends how you want to push it.
I did following your video, but my AUX 4 button won't function anymore after I did this, is there any ways that I can still put LQ on channel 8 and still using my Aux 4 as other function?
Nope unfortunately not. Aux 4 IS channel 8 in that case and when you put the LQ on channel 8 you got Aux 4 used up for that. You could also just put LQ on whatever Aux is free for you.. lets say you dont use aux 3 then put lq on channel 7 and youre good. Ofc then need to switch telemetry to aux 3 in betaflight. I know you dont need that info anymore but maybe someone else has the same question
@@baadlyrics8705 - I'm using aux 1,2,3 and 4 for in flight functions. It seems super weird that to set LQ signal information transmission I needed to assign it to a button. Is there no other way to do this?
When I open the menu on the tango 2 I only have and tango II XF and tango wifi menu. I dont have a nano rx menu Edit : solved this by connecting the battery.
Hi! thanks for the video! really helpful, but I still having LQ 0 and the warning of it on the OSD, I see that you have the warning disable, should I disable it? or there is something wrong with my setup? thanks!
Okay so I've narrowed down my issue, it seems like my aio and betaflight have aux 1-4 at 988 and 4-8 at 1000 and when I go over this limit my quad wont arm. Is there a way to change the threshold for a specific channel? Since when you plug it in its automatically goes up to 2000 it wont arm and I cant find anything that looks like a setting for individual thresholds. Is this something that might have to be done in the CLI? I can get the LQ to work properly as well, its just that threshold that wont let my quad arm. As soon as I changed the channel back to 8 in my tango 2 it was able to arm right away. Thanks!
@@rcwck nothing.... it shows 50 when off yes... it will go to 0 when all connected and you are flying - don't ask me why it shows 50 when its off... it just does.
hey mate - you meant the stick ends? - they are m3: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e4JV5KXRg04.html same as in this vid but gold, links in description
Hey mate. Here again ! Got a new ESC and FC set up in my quad. I got this working before with my previous ESC and FC stack. But now I have a Tmotor Pro II 4 in 1 and F7 HD stack. Cant get the LQ to work. I already have LQ setup in my RC on AUX 2. When I go to Betaflight and go Configuration > RSSI channel. I set it to AUX 2. But it wont stick, it wont save. It switches back to disabled after I save and switch back to the configuration tab
hey man just a quick tip, maybe you should disable this automatic translate function for the title and description as it transforms everything just into confusing poop
You have 100% RSSI and I have 80% and if I put tango2 in another room there is 40-50%. With radio off I have 0% instead of 50% in your case. Is it all good?
I have this problem. I just watched a video Bardwell put out that explains the TBS Tango 2 ships out with the wrong region for the US. I checked mine and it was in fact not set for 915 MHz like it should have been.
I think if you get down to 20% you should look at panicking! but that controller should give you alerts of whats happening - you'd normally get a 'critical warning' if its low
So.... you setup LQ in de Tango but in OSD you set RSSI. You’re mixing things up... 🙄 And why give up an aux channel if you simply can set it up in your OSD? Sorry, but this makes no sense 🤷🏼♂️
in the osd you have RSSI to tick its just the name, we are using the rssi to display the lq instead of rssi - try it your way and see if it works, I am only showing you exactly what I do and what works for me perfectly, it works every time no issues at all... thanks
Hello, great, I have a concern, could you help me? I don't speak English, only Spanish, I will use a translator,,,,,, I have the new Helion from Iflight with tbs crossfire diversity and a Tango 2, I am not an expert in configurations, just testing the drone, the RSSI quality that the OSD shows in the glasses is 1:100 and a friend gets 2:100 with the Elrs receiver. When I'm a little far away it changes to 0:100 and I get a notification that says: RXLOSS But the "Tango 2" control signal itself has the full 5 dashes, meaning full signal... What does it mean that I'm losing signal? control? The radio is a Tango 2 with 1w power. The configurations you make in this video could help me in this. OSD appears 2:100 which would have greater signal strength? I would appreciate your help!!!👍
I guess it depends what you are after... RSSI will give you a indication of all the telemetry readouts with the 99% in your googles, that will fluctuate a lot... RSSI/LQ will do the same - LQ will just display link quality with your radio - you still get telemetry warnings as well, but it just displays the LQ at 99 - I don't really care about telemetry, the only thing I want to know is when my quad will fall out of the sky - LQ.
Hi again :-) So I come back with a new issue with my Tango2! After following your settings I managed to have LQ on Chanel 8 and 99% on the OSD of my DJI googles. It works fine but as soon as I go further than 400 to 500 meters away I get a "telemetry lost" alert on the Tango! Strangely the drone doesn't failsafe and I have time to turn back and then it says "telemetry recovered". This is not normal. The LQ in the OSD still reads 90% when that happens. Is it possible that it's a buggy warning while in reality there is no signal loss?
@@FPV87 Hi! thanks for your answer. Did you try to go further away after you get the message? I don't have a space big enough to try so I don't know if I can trust the signal.
@@olivierf.4931 hm no, i was a little bit afraid of this, so i flew back.. maybe i try the next time in another place to find out the limit 🙂✌🏻 other ppl tell me, i should reset the nano rx and bind again new with the tango, that can fix the problem. Greetz from germany ✌🏻
well, this is a telemetry lost which more than likely is a telemetry read out of a list of telemetry stuff - telemetry covers a whole lot more than just LQ your radios connection to the receiver - the one voice warning you want to really pay full attention to is: RF signal critical. If I discover more about losing various telemetry readouts I will get back to you...
I did also see someone copy the sd card contents out from the tango 2 - format the sd card - then copy back the contents.... I can't tell you if this works or not though....
Hi! On my tango 2 the rssi is at 50% as soon as the drone takes off. It seems strange because I was expecting a super long range with CF and it is at 40% after 200 meters!
@@Datfpv thanks for your answer! I don't know where to look for a setup error. The OSD shows me the usual rssi % that starts at 99% however the 99% are shown when the tango is right next to the antenna receiver. As soon as I pull it away it starts falling down like 70% 2meters away etc... until it reaches 47 % 10 meters away. But you are right when flying I didn't get any warnings and I went 300meters away without failsafe...
using LQ is the best one to use, if you are using RSSI it will display oddly, mines always set to LQ link quality RSSI is whole bunch of stuff and link quality is obv just the signal / link quality between the quad and the tango2
Does this method give you an audible alert when the LQ gets low? I have the LQ in my OSD, but I would like to have an audio que as well... Thx for this video 🤙
