I had this pedal, I found it to be excellent with lower decay and mix setting but a bit tricky to get decent sounds when the mix and decay were dialled up.
Definitely a great option for an always on pedal! Had it before and just ordered one. I don’t use a lot of reverb so in keeping it low for some feel works!
I have had this for a few years. Simple and reliable, but not amazing. Not much difference between three modes, I've ended up using Hall with mild settings, just enough "Mix" to avoid dry sound. If you have an analog or digital delay, they are more versatile to add enough space and some warmth. Echobrain is my fav, almost always on.
Yeah I also used it with very mild settings, otherwise it's too much. I love the echobrain too but my favorite is the prophet delay, that pedal is awesome.
@@AndorOsztrogonac Yes, sir, The Prophet is on top of my shopping list. Today it's cheaper than trusty Echobrain! -I have 6 "tank series" TC pedals, with all jacks on top they stack nicely, without any gaps. Brilliant design!
Just got the pedal, not very good sadly. The sound you hear on this video is about as good as you can get in. Turn the rerevb up and it's very messy, Turn it down and just about where it gets nice it just cuts out altogether. Not sure if I have a dodgy one but mine is basically only useful from position 0 to 1 and rubbish from 2 to 10. This coming from someone who likes a lot of reverb :( I don't leave bad reviews often.
Thank you! Well to be honest I think your built in reverb is just good enough, but of course it depends what sound you are looking for. If you want major difference/improvement then go with something like the tc electronic hall of fame pedal. On the other hand this pedal is pretty cheap, so you can't go wrong with it.

Hey, I'm writing about the "SKYSURFER REVERB tc electronic" guitar effects I purchased. I have inserted the recommended (NEW) 9V battery. The effect only worked properly for a moment and then the light from the bulb started to flash, the guitar signal disappeared, there was a heartbeat sound repeating. The cables are fine, the battery is new. I also checked the device with a friend, experienced musician. Same. It worked fine for a few minutes ... I was looking for a solution on the internet. Several people had the same problem. Unfortunately, I could not find a cause or solution. Do you have any idea? Regards. PS. I must add that when you click "off" the guitar sounds (clean sound). When you click "on" again, there is no sound again, the bulb flashes etc.
Hi, I tried to use this pedal with a battery and it worked fine for several days (I didn’t play much). After, when the battery died, the pedal started behaving like you described. I used a battery from IKEA. The only thing I can advice is to try different batteries. Yes, the pedal doesn’t work from a battery for a really long time, but it’s defenetely not a several minutes. If it’s not for a battery, may be there’s a technical issue.
Owned it, no good!!! Sounds cheap and metallic. Ok for special effects if that s what you want, but a very poor choice for anyone serious about their tone. And that s quite blatant in this video. Unfortunately good reverbs don t come cheap. Try the small HOF of the same brand, a bit pricier but much better as you can load different reverb sounds into it.
Yes I know the hall of fame and it's much much better 100%. But you know for someone who just need a basic reverb nothing special, for this cheap price the skysurfer does the job, in my opinion.
