@massivesponge Certainly, although recently I've returned that energy and started the boarding myself, farming as much rep as possible and currently 26 Servant , and I'm actually getting streaks somewhat which is huge for me since I'm usually quite bad at PvP stuff 😅
@@nivekubluelook up some naval guides. Last thing you want is to be a level 100 board bot that doesn’t know how to do anything else or doesn’t have any game sense. This strat only works vs Swabbies or other board bots unless you go absolutely sicko mode like sponge here.
@@nivekublue yeah I mean that is the majority of the playerbase if I’m being honest. Should still practice playing “properly” as much as possible for when you do run into the 2% of the playerbase that’s actually good at the game. Its complacency that will get you sunk by good players.
A question to Sponge, or anyone who does TDM. I want to start improving in TDM-ish fights and maby do TDM itself, and I saw alot of you doing pretty long flicks both with eye of reach and a flintlock. But i can't quite figure how you do it. In my case, i put my sensetivity at 1,3 + 700 dpi and all ads sensetivity to 10. But i still end up with too much sens outside ads, and too litle sens in ads. Do you guys just quickscoping without ads untill the last moment, or is there a way to disable reduced sens for ads? Or maby any other trick in a sleeve?
hit lvl 66 servants today and just had an HOUR AND A HALF FIGHT Starts normal, both us shoot about 200 cannonballs over 30 minutes until we both runout I still had ~45 scatters left from sinks so I tried ramming and using em Over an hour of fighting like that continues Dude goes to a skele fort near center of circle to get more supplies and harpoons floating barrels Tries to make a keg play because I shot off to fort for supplies while leaving my ship turning around I swim over to where he left the keg and his ship hits into the island because he oversteered He goes on ship to rep I take keg and ignite it in the middle of his below deck, die and come back Shoot back to island and get on fort tower and shoot five scatters then board He’s off of ship doing something idk what it was tbh His mast is down and I anchor, kill him once and he sinks Absolutely bonkers match because we were so equally skilled, other than him being a bit better at quickscopes because I’m Xbox

@@cameronoberg8809 it’s more so his weapons, I know you can cancel animations by stowing but I as well as my friends are all missing something when it comes to the ladder shots and a lot on the ship. Not shooting anywhere near that fast or smooth. Feel free to explain it to me too lol I’ll gladly listen
theres a new way to silent board with items like throwables, wood, cannonballs where you spam right click before grabbing the ladder and it makes no noise
