Te Pikikotuku o Ngati rongomai is of maori decendant x what you are watching is Kapahaka a traditional type of "dance" maori do. Poi is representing a song towards where they come from. Haka is a war dance we use to challenge the opposition or show what or where we come from mean to us. It is beautiful to be honest. What you see on the faces are Moko on men and women Moko kauae. ( KO I ) there are stories behind these tattoos x

This was just the first "waiata entrance" there are 7-8 brackets in a haka comp group depends on the whole korero "story" the group from every "hapu-" area" has.
