We back baby! The more I think about this podcast the more I think it really is just what I said in the intro - conversations with friends - so I thought I'd take a more casual approach to it, just pick a topic and find the best person to chat to about it. Jeff is someone I've spoken to about relationships lots in the past and we always have a good discussion, so I thought it would be the most interesting guest to have on on this topic! I know he's offered some really helpful perspectives to me many times in the past.
If you have any thoughts or constructive feedback, please feel free to share in the comments (Spotify apparently has this feature now too), the more we share the more we all learn!
until next time :)

Astute observations, and great points! The part about emotionally-led, knee-jerk reactions really resonated. I'm historically a serial monogamist, but lately coming around to the argument for "it's better to be single than..." The craving for love and human connection probably won't ever go away, but I'm learning the why and how to address those feelings. Hopefully, it'll lead to better and more mindful connections. Or at least living my best life along the way!

Ahh, the singledom lifestyle welcomes you with abundant time for hobbies and friends! That's a great point and I think it would be interesting to discuss the topic of human connection and love as well, specifically how platonic love and connection with friends can or cannot fulfil some of these needs 🤔
