Teach Like A Champion - No Opt Out Strategy 

I actually love this strategy! I use it frequently with my English Language Learners and my students who don't always volunteer. I can see the confidence boost in the bodies when they are encouraged to report the correct answer, and then sometimes explain why it's the correct answer. Yes it can take a little bit longer when dealing with a larger number of students, but I try to at least get to one of these students for each lesson. I also use popsicle sticks to cold call, this keeps everyone on their toes because no one knows whose name might be called...so they al try to stay attentive to the question, in case their name is pulled.

I would like to see this executed in a classroom of 25+ students.
