The "Ted Bear" one is a parody of sorts of Bear Grylls, a TV adventurer who goes to deserted islands, frozen tundra, and deserts to show you tricks on how to stay alive - like how to make shelter, how to keep warm/cool, and what gross things you can eat like animals and plants. The show received criticism when it was found to be (at least partly) faked. He would stay in nearby hotels and eat full prepared meals before or after filming segments throughout the day. So this skit is poking fun at the idea of an adventurer giving advice about survival from somewhere extremely pleasant, where one not only finds the necessities of survival easily, but also the luxuries of an excessively hedonistic lifestyle. Excuse the grammar.

The fake cuspidor in the cabinet thing actually made me puke.. i work in a dental clinic so everytime we have a lot of patients we end up accumulating upto 5 liters of saliva, blood and powderized enamel/mercury amalgam in the cuspidor reservior.. its an olfactory nightmare just to flush that rancid sludge into the toilet...
