Coach just self monitors quite well is all. If you pay close enough attention you'll notice he's not quite as innocent as you may believe... even a bit dark at times when it comes to humor. reminds me of that episode of Bones when Dr Brennan had to meet a plastic surgeon to find out about a victim, she thinks their barbaric and when he was about to touch her she gave the death stare. and later in the episode she commented something about how his job pays well for playing Frankenstein and the surgeon is like "you have a serious neurosis on the subject."
