As an African girl, with 4c hair, I also had to teach myself how to care for my hair. Even my mom didn’t know but it has been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made and I don’t regret it!! Love from Boston, MA.

This makes me so happy to see. 🥰 Spreading awareness and love of curly hair. Curly hair is a dominant trait in humans. I hope more people can learn to manage and care for their curly hair.

Hello, Im really happy to see your videos, I did not know curly and coily hair happend in korean people! I was shocked! Your hair looks just like mine! I'm brazilian, and have 3c/4a type. I am happy you now love and know how to manage your hair, even I went though a process like you: disliked and straightened my hair as a kid but now love it the way it is. ❤

Hi, I have 3B to 3C curly hair. Til' today i'm still trying to study and managing my hair, and watching your videos makes my heart warm. I have mixed parents and live in asian community makes me hate my hair since i was young, always asking and blame it to my parents, and growing jealousy to friends or cousins who had straight hair. And seeing your video and listen to your story encourage me to love my hair more, and learn to set my mindset to positive way and to accept my self as i am. Thank you so much♡

I can relate to this.. there are so many discrimination towards curly hair in Asia.. and that it does not look good so and so... 😔

I use a hair bonnet(made of satin or silk) to perserve the curls while im asleep. Without it I will wake up with frizzy hair. But with this, it requires minimal effort to make it look good again(sometimes it looks better LOL). I don't know if your followers use it so id recommend to get one if you dont have one!

I have very very long, mostly straight hair, but getting a silk bonnet has seriously helped my hair condition too!! It reduces so much frizz and breaking, my hair is a lot more soft and manageable now. I definitely recommend it!! I’ve heard silk pillow cases are also good if you don’t like the feel of sleeping with a bonnet on, and it’s really good for your skin as well :)
