I'm a special education teacher. Nothing cheeses me off more than people exploiting special education schools or kids. The karma backlash Karen and Kevin received was EPIC.

As soon as you said "a letter was sent to the Principal using paper from Karen's husband's Firm" I knew exactly where this story was headed and how badly she screwed herself over.

I mean what the lawyer did was a galaxy level big brain type of move. Sorry that Mr. P had to go through that however I am happy that Karen and Ken got screwed and continuously get screwed.

For those curious, the game in the background is called Flower. I'd say it's a fun game, though I don't think it has enough action for a lot of fps gamers and the like

Geez, most work places I know of it only takes 2-3 no call/no shows (NCNS's) in a row to automatically presume the person voluntarily quit (job abandonment).

The parent-lawyer had the most BIG BRAIN MOVE I've ever heard of in that kind of situation. Like damn, I never would think of that. But if he haven't remember about his college friend this wouldn't work, I think. At least not that good.

Revenge plots like these make me so happy because I know the people who are the reason the revenge was made, really deserve it a lot

Lesson learned: when the opponent demanded aomething from you through a threat and you know that you are right, first, be calm and make plan, second, give it to them in the way that would deal as much damage to their life as possible without them knowing about it.

a lot of business people whenever they hear the words legal action always freak out and ignore everything said otherwise.

If Mrs. P really insisted on fighting, they would have learned there was no actual lawyer involved sooner or later. Even without the friend, he would have had to call the firm asking to speak to the attorney in charge to request paperwork, set up a deposition, etc. The deception wouldn't have stood up to scrutiny.

16:20 I think Ms.P was probably a very nice principal, perhaps too nice as to not want to do this, she did check up on Karen repeatedly as to ensure she's okay above all else until her han was forced due to Karen's actions actually having serious problems for the school itself.

It is quite impressive that you are able to pull something like that legally.

I’m just sad for Kevin. He could’ve easily reinstated his name and could’ve gotten his ‘old’ life back. All he needed to do, which is way too late now, was divorce/break up with Karen within this situation and/or month after the whole situation. I mean, sure, any firm will still ask what happened, but then he can say he wasn’t in a healthy relationship with Karen and he is doing much better now (if that is true). Sure, it would’ve taken longer than normal, but he would’ve been able to reach partner in a big firm and/or grow the firm to a high status amongst other competitors in it’s field. I mean top 5 of his class ain’t nothing, so it’s just a waste of talent. Edit for 17:10 (or around that time): I think this only took so long to solve is because it took place in a country where you can’t get fired if your ‘sick’/called in sick and haven’t re-established that you’re healthy again, like where I’m from.

I've had students that will rail at me for my grades being unfair. If they make a case, I'll listen. I'll even change it if they make a good one. The ones that rant about their feelings or what they deserve instantly lose the argument. They are becoming people like this.

Not only that the husband is also put his job on the line for for taking her case as a lawyer in fact that he is not yet a lawyer what he's doing is waiting on fraud

My mother works for the educational system in our country and normally if you dont say things in advance like a sick leave, you are pretty much screwed over. The fact that it was no call no show and after severa attempts to reach that Karen, she didn't answer... That is a death sign there for their carrer as the school system even on special needs works withing a network so basically there would be no place where Karen would work for that line of work in ver life specially taking in count that it was against a special needs school.

Wonder what threats she made to get to the top of her class at college

Karen would have still kept her job if she just report that she is sick in the first place.

If you are low on the lawyer totem pole, you don't start a major lawsuit without the firm's permission. Kevin and Karen were basically shooting themselves in the foot.

What kind of lawyer would Kevin have been, given everything he fraudulently did? By his actions, it's obvious he didn't consider every possibility when agreeing to the terms of the agreement. They agreed to post a video apology from Mrs. P, not that they wouldn't post anything else along with the apology. That Kevin signed the agreement and not once saw this flaw in the agreement, proves he never would have been a really good lawyer.

I like how they both let Kevin and Karen think they've won when actuality they lost. All the principal had to do was send a false apology to put things in motion effectively ruining Karen and Kevin's careers. I'll tell you what, if that was me, I would've said okay you want your apology, drop the charges and I'll not only do that, but pay you for your sick leave. Then I'd secretly put a restraining order against Kevin and Karen letting them know they're not allowed to come within 1,000 yards of the School's Campus and they'll be arrested for trespassing. That would be my solution.

I am in a special needs class, and the teacher is much worse than most of the kids combined, one kid there started being annoying, I told him to get the fuck away from me, he cried, and I thought that no one on this planet can be worse than him, but this teacher changed my mind.

in some countrys its REALY hard to fire something like a teacher, there is also countrys with rules making it hard to fire someone with a doctors note stating they was sick, and if they had fired her in that regard the potential lawsuit would have been realy costly and the school might well have lost depending on the rules, and even if won the cost could easly been in the 10s of thousands if not 100k+ range in dollars (or the equalent to what those sums would gett in ops country) so they would have needed a lot consistent proof to be able to take that chance of how karen was accting.
