This is the heartbreak of this country. This teacher is a jewel and should be honored and revered. These kids don't know how lucky they are to have the benefit of his teaching/mentoring. But very few teachers are this dedicated and caring. Most of them may be fine teachers, but they just do not have the stamina and ability to countenance ghetto behavior. I spent ten years teaching in the Chicago ghetto, and I got the hell out as soon as I could. Woe be tide any teacher who has to put up with the primitive behavior found only in the ghetto.

CHICAGO MOTHERS, IF ALL ELSE FAILS, YOU NEED TO THINK SERIOUSLY ABOUT LEAVING THE CITY !!! It can be much too dangerous for you and your children to live there and they will not receive a good education. Talk with the preacher/priest in your church and ask him to contact other churches in safe areas of our country where the congregation would be willing to sponsor you and help with the arrangements for your move. Look for smaller communities where there aren't any gangs, and safety won't be a problem. If your older boys who are involved in gangs refuse to leave with you, then let them stay behind while you protect your little ones. Keep in touch with the older boys and they may soon change their minds. I can't say this often enough: IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO SAVE YOUR CHILDREN'S LIVES AND GIVE THEM A GOOD FUTURE !!!
