Hey, I just found your channel and as a culinary student that took a petite four class you can for sure replace the whole almond flour for pistachio flour only difference is how moist it will be but different but flours have different amount of natural oil/fat

As a half French who loves baking I can't believe I never tried making financiers. I will making that the day after tomorrow, today is chocolate peanut butter brownies which is far from french but very close to heaven.

You can add a few drops of almond extract to sort of support pistachio flavour if you can't or won't purchase the pistachio paste, just fyi. It'll also help support the cherry flavour.

Great job. I do think if you used less batter with the financier it wouldn't rise over your fruit and you get that thin look they normally have. I love love to bake too wish I had the guts to make videos of it. Hats off to you!!

I was wondering why you shouldn’t refrigerate chocolate candy like snickers, Cadbury etc

It’s not that you shouldn’t - it’s all about personal preference! However, the tongue doesn’t have quite the same ability to taste cold foods compared to room-temp or warm foods so can make it less enjoyable. Some prefer the texture of cold chocolate though!
