Teakettle Rock on the New Mexico Backcountry Discovery Route

Took a ride on my R1250GS, to find Teakettle Rock on the NMBDR. Just off NM126 on FR103, the ride to Teakettle Rock is on part of Section 7 of the New Mexico Backcountry Discovery Route. The part that I rode was in very good condition, and is a very nice ride through the countryside. And Teakettle Rock is as good an excuse as any to ride the GS on the NMBDR!!!

Glad you liked it! We've only lived here for four years, but really like it. This State is what got me into Adventure riding too, so I'm very thankful for that!!

@@twobikesandadrone well enjoy your rides. My late husband was a veteran we loved to travel all around the State. I’m British and am back in the UK now. But NM will always be home. I do hope you gets lots of adventures there and make many glorious memories to treasure.

I am! That whole area has all kinds of good forest roads I hear, so hopefully the upcoming “monsoon season” isn’t too bad to where it messes me up too!
