This is a guide for players in the PSR Draft league (or any other league) who are inexperienced and want to improve their building in Pokemon Draft Format.
Pokemon Damage Calculator: calc.pokemonshowdown.com/
Prep Document (Created by Rissoux): docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
For the prep document, the best way to do things is to use the "Matchup's Tab" to input the teams, then view the matchups on the Analysis page.

So helpful. I'm going to participate in a draft league and this video helped me a lot with planning my team.

Fantastic video, I'll send this to the people playing in my league, as they're rather new to draft league!

Reminds me of the time I had won this awful match. I was going up against a sceptile with pincurchin support in a super low teir league. Obviously after a swords dance it was very dangerous, throughout the season it averaged 4 kills a game and clean swept me during the initial rounds. But now it was semifinals and I had to face him again. So I went red card wigglytuff to shut it down since after it switched out it obviously lost swords dance but also the defense boost from electric seed and the unburden boost. I think I also used choice band trevanent with natural cure since he had no poltergeist switch ins. His first loss all season lol

Dude thats sick. Coming up with creative sets/ideas is the best. The most heat set I had was Power Herb, Solar Beam Moltres to kill his Rotom-Wash

I started getting back into draft leagues a few weeks ago, and also started one of my own. My league contains mostly of inexperienced players and some who are completely new to competetive Pokémon, and one of the things I did for preperation was sending them this video I found while researching the topic myself, so I really appreciate the work you put into this, I think this will help them a lot. It certainly pointed some things out to me which I was'nt really aware of ^^ I still have got one question: The Prep Document you used looked pretty fancy, thanks for the link btw. but how do I use it? ^^' Well anyways, greetings from Germany, and thanks again :D

I hope your league gets some stuff out of this I won't pretend to be the best player of all time but I've at least had decent success at the leagues I've joined. All I ask if for you to share the video, and maybe throw me a like if you think its helpful. To use that prep doc start by making a copy of it. You take a list of each of your pokemon and each of your opponents pokemon, go to the "Matchups" tab. Then paste your 2 respective teams under where it says "Pokemon" under "League 1". Then you can go back to the Analysis tab and it should display a bunch of useful info about both teams including base speeds, type weaknesses, and important things like Hazards, Hazard Removal etc. It also just helps me visualize both teams easier if they're in front of me together. If you play in more than 1 league at the same time (Or maybe you want to build teams for 3 weeks all at once) you can add each league to a new section under "Matchup" then you can swap between views on the "Analysis" tab by clicking the little dropdown in between each team to change which matchup you're looking at. This video does assume you have a basic understanding of competitive pokemon (knowing what EVs, IVs and Natures do etc), but past that I think it can help people

@@Ffancrzy Yeah, as by now, most of us learned a few ways to look at the whole teambuilding process, which already helped a lot :) And of course I already liked and shared the video ;) Thanks a lot, once you know how to use it, it is quite simple ^^ Yeah, but all the competetive stuff is what I tried to teach my new players, and I think most of them understood it roughly, which seemed to be enough to understand your video for some of them :)

Haven't regularly played halo in a while I'm sorry to say. I appreciate the support on the Halo videos I made but most of my friends haven't played halo in a while and I only play on occasion myself.
