Maybe most expensive in Jersey some of the guys here have over 2k just in the engine alone.. a few fully composite moded trucks that only weigh about 25 lbs with 18+hp.. that are well over $10k

Its a really nice model, put together well. I saw people mod and upgrade their Rovan and Losis, back in the day with anywhere between 5-8K Australian dollars in billet parts. When the 5th scale started back here in Australia, it was very easy to sell metal parts to customers. Everyone wanted them. Not as well sorted as this.

I have a rovan 5b buggy and drive train stuff just breaks when not even doing anything intesive on it, no drifting, no hard launches, no jumps, no anything and it still doesnt even last, I wouldnt even last an 1/8th of a tank before it breaks usually. Things like gears, driveshafts, driveshaft pins, driveshaft rubber boots, and I got a 2 speed trans and the damn thing wont shift at all. I would love to figure it out becasue it would take a ton of time to get the stock shaft back on and I dont want to let this 200 dollar piece of kit to waste. I love 2 stroke rc cars, but sometimes I just want to throw it out of the window even though over 1000 was invested in spare parts and other nicknacks including the car

This is just a opinion Not worth it all that money could of bought an alx72 or 71. Or a rcmax 70 next aluminum a arms are crap there good for looks thats it you want to have give and flex otherwise big stuff breaks if you hit hard or crash like bulkheads diff cases ect. Plus aluminum is heavy. Id do a rcmax 48 50 or 70 then just a good tlr racing kit that has all the best crap for shocks suspension and handling really. Cool car though. You learn alot after many yrs of running them hard and racing. Remember stiff a arms is bad you want give and flex . I love the shocks . There is alot of bice stuff going on but just go watch a few alx,s or rcmax engines . There mad power 18 to 22 hp if doing electric look up losi mgm 12s. You will see high end esc big time. I run a mgm and a brushless motor that pushed about 28 hp . When you see a 5t wheelie at the crack of a throttle thats just stunning. Just type in losi 5 rcmax 70 😊 you will shit. Then losi 5 mgm 12s you will druel
