As a captain we have to select Cummins (the way he setup fielding against India in the final) even best batsman in the world Kohli can’t find a way to hit a boundary.. We have to agree that 😕 2nd Point- Everyone knows how weak is Aussies team. Cheeky says before SF and Final Aussie lacks 5 bowlers Aussie lack middle order etc etc.. Still Cummins finds the strength of the team (fielding, they place there brilliant fielder in all important position and make it tough for the best batting side of this World Cup SA and Ind under 250) Absolutely brilliant

Yes remove virat kholi and kl rahul from t20 team. Select some good strike rate players. Virat kholi not suit for t20 but Bcci every year satisfied virat kholi to add the squad. I dont know 2016 world cup semifinal virat strike rate is not good in big match. Still bcci add all t20 world cup.

Very surprised you both not even discussed anything about MITCHEL SANTNER for the spin option. He may not have the highest wickets like Zampa but he bowled so consistently and provide control for the team when everyone goes for runs. Gives his best in bowling, fielding and batting but goes under the scanner much like he does in CSK. 😔😔

Santer = jadeja in terms of bowling, but jaddu played a 30 odd knock against nz and a cameo of 20 odd runs against SA, santner didn't have cameos like jaddu did, that's the difference

Jaddu scored 120 runs with a strike rate of 101 where as Santer also scored 103 runs with a strike rate of 137. Jaddu has 16 wkts in 11 matches, Santner has 16 wkts in 10matches. There isn't much difference between these two, my concern is why don't they even talk about Santer before choosing Jaddu.

Truly deserved Champions.. Hats off to the Aussies... As an Indian cricket fan more than heartbreak it was so disappointing that our team didn't play with the same approach that worked for them so far.. Also I have no idea why the hell the management or BCCI or whoever concerned wanted this grand finale to be played on a used dry slow pitch.. There is a lot for India to learn from the World Cup. Specially Australia - they went in with a plan for each player and not just play to their strengths. Rohit has been brilliant with letting players showcase their talents but the people making these plans per opponent player are helping them win. It felt like India did not have plan b and plan c as plan a worked throughout the series. Long story short - I want the Australian planning heads in the team 😊

Captaincy wise rohit is far more better than Cummins accept in that final. Rohit only have 5 bowling option after hardik injury and after that india played with some though teams. So he manged with that 5 bowlers and rotate them properly accept the final. Cummins have 7,or 6 bowling option . So rohit is the tournament the Capitan of the tournament

BCCI intentionally created STICKY PITCH keeping just 2 players in mind Kuldeep and Jadeja...BCCI did this so that they could present a win to PM ..but it backfired...same pitch played so well during IPL

Too much biased towards indian players... As a world cup team you have to consider all team player and have a mix of it.... Cheeka team selection is better like picking nz and afg players... Ani should correct this and consider other team players also... For eg we should consider only one from bumrah and shami and give chance to other team players and out of indian batsmen only 2persons you should choose... To be in all fairness, Batsmen as a captain are overrated..Gud allrounders, Bowlers/Keepers are better captaincy materials..The preparation of win started with Cummins with pure analysis and homework of pitch and execution of plan well..whereas Rohit ignoring the pitch conditions and trusted Gill and Shreyas blindly to take risk against Maxi, costed us the worldcup.. As Everyone knows Batsmen can win matches, only Bowlers can win tournaments..😊🙃

I’ve picked him purely based on his talent and killer instincts and great brain for captaincy! Klassen best middle order batter now in the world Maxwell quick fire innings and an off spinner Santner little with bat and great spinning brain Rashid a good economical and sometimes wicket taking wrist spinner who could bat Bumrah and josh to bowl in first power play in tandem! Shami one change bowler! (Maybe zampa in place of Rashid but Rashid gives a quick runs, so opted for Rashid! So gone with 6 bowling options and 7 batters!)
