Sincerely think it's a streamer brain thing. Watching a person read is less interesting than watching a person click chaotically trying to figure out mechanics. It is frustrating as a viewer lol.
Yea, this game is not built for the current streamer meta. It's kind of a shame. Somebody needs to tell these tweakers it's okay to slow down and pay attention.
I'm keeping my hopes realistic but I do hope they keep this run going for a good while! It's a fun group with a nice mix of chaotic but also moving the story forward and not getting lost. They've already done two things I've NEVER done (despite like 6 playthroughs lol) which is play the goblin drums and let the spiders free to murder goblins.
Ludwig especially seems to be very into it. As well as understanding and actually reading the dialouge, makes it a lot more enjoyable than watching people be confused and completely make zero progress 😊
Yes they should keep this going, maybe make it a weekly thing like 2v2 Tuesdays and also having the leeway to conform to their schedules; such as 2v2 Tuesdays not always occurring on Tuesday’s.
It's hilarious to me how confidently Lud says things that are wildly incorrect. If I didn't know anything about the game I would believe him for sure, makes me wonder what else he does that with when talking about subjects I'm not clued up on 😂
for real! he keeps pulling things outta his ass lmao but he's so confidant when he says it. I kinda wish they would just read their abilities instead of counting on lud giving a(n) (inaccurate) summery.
he’s such a man and in the worse way possible, i fear like, always runs ahead of everyone and makes SURE he’s the one doing the talking even when his character has terrible charisma.
@@jacobmiton5912 A bit of a weird thing to say, that's not a man thing it's a Lud thing where he doesn't care as much about exploring and just keeps walking to the next part of the game. Hell they missed about 75% of act 1
Idk about having 10 people in a combat, that seems absolutely insane, especially for streamers who aren’t familiar with the game and it’s mechanics yet
if you ever play again, please please add the party limit begone mod. it would allow you to have all of the companions and improves the story so much!!
I am enjoying the series so much. Just a tip you should let the bard stay in front for conversations because they will always have the best chance to do it.
I do think all of them need to learn to think outside of the box more. For instance -- they never considered that the rat is a rat when hearing its clue. It's able to get into locations you wouldn't be able to do because of its location. So... what if you turned into a rat? There's a guard you need to hide from? Illusions, blind, etc. There's a lot of ways to do it besides the traditional sneaking. There's so many ways to achieve the quest. The spiders is a good option. Though the easiest is just to poison their punch bowl.
Listening to them pronouncing Halsin as 'Has-lin' each time is the mood I have watching this entire playthrough. A bit frustrating but nonetheless entertaining haha
Really Enjoyed Watching u Guys Play, I was Watching from Raes Perspective though and Yes Ludwig was Definately Being to Fast. Hope He does slow it down in this.
Up until Ludwig had not said "kill the children first" I felt like he literally didn't do anything right. It's enjoyable to see them figure out the game so slow. To be honest he did steal the treasure trove, but these two things 4 hours in are a pretty low success rate comparatively
Hmm... bought Baldur's Gate 3 a while ago. But I played the pre-release right before it came out. Then I tried to multi-player with people that all failed... so I ended up doing the starting part like 5x in a row and spending like 20-30 hours on it. I just got burnt out and dropped the game. This resparked my interest. Still downloading my mods but I might look for more streamers doing Baldur's Gate 3. WolfheartFPS seems to be the most recommended. Like literally the thread of "who should I watch?" was full of him. He's not even that big of a streamer. They all say he's just really, really knowledgeable about the game and provides a lot of lore side info. I might watch his series. I find Baldur's Gate 3 is just easy to afk watch. I can have it on while doing something else.
I can't believe they aren't dying every fight. I tryharded this game and got owned repeatedly. They MUST be pretending to be less informed than they are. They must be.
