The BE6S is a monster! I recommend 14T minimum on 6S for the pinion! I didn't mention this in my group because of the budget you wanted to spend RTR. this one would be 620 ready to run with 2x 5200 50C without a charger. You would want a dual 3S one for this model and they start at 45

Out of stock alot of places until End of June. If you want a good deal on one, i can get it, just has to be then as i am ans have been out of them and waiting for Redcat

Never get Proline pre mount for 45+ mph. I get them off the rim and strap them. You can see the difference then from what i am showing in the end of this video If you know what they look like pre mounted... its dramatic!

never used them on the BE6S and the batteries are fine. They are confining on this truck and also can't use with fat packs! I used them on the MT8E and grew tired of them! I am aware of their purpose though.. Just not worth the hassle or limitations!

No and Yes. Since become a Team Magic dealer, I have since upgraded this one to the V-Gen or 5th Generation of this model. The BE6S being the 4th. I love the model and platform and don't see a time that I would move away from it unles it was impossible to get parts for... which it is not and probably will not happen anytime soon being the parts are used in multiple team magic e6 platforms.

They have a 90 day warranty and should have helped... The overall feedback about Redcat's service is good! Sorry to hear. THIS one is not from that factory . The Team magic E6/E6HX/BES are the same model and very popular over sea's. Very good quality truck!

No Problems Computer & Hobby , I have contacted redcat when I bought this thing six years ago unfortunately I am still waiting for the parts and it has not run since and aside from the dust it has been collecting it looks brand new. I really wanted this to be a great car.

The bevel gears do not appear to be spiral. Depending on who you talk to the spiral is not as strong, although usually quieter. It has Steel diff cases throughout though and hardened bevels

Hard to say due to drive style. I would recommend 14T pinon if going 6S out the gate.. 15T may be ideal but then you start pushing the esc more and the power draw is more. The 100C would be good for that although changing the deans out to some EC5, XT90, 8mm Bullets or XT150's would be better for the power flow to the esc. The gearing will use more power but with 7600, just bashing, I get 25-30+ minutes as it is not wound out and sometimes flipped over! So again, wide open and running hard for 20 minutes on the 7600 could be the case but never on it hard for long when bashing! So the 10,000mah should get another 5-15 minutes depending!

thicker diff oils will help keep the wheels turning the same speed....assuming everything else is fine tuned. Also a gyro will help you on speed runsa

I am in Harford County but no shop yet. Looking in the Area for a place to have an indoor track/s setup and a hobby shop/repair/rental and also have a bigger outdoor track. Right place/right price though. Started looking to get a budget in mind and some places won't let us put the outdoor track and ones that will either have too small of place to do so or the inside is not big enough for the setup desired. It wouldn't happen until next year at the earliest but as of now I am a computer Tech with a hobby I made a second business out of! LOL

BE6S is my favorite in my collection of various models..I do not apologize for Redcat and became a dealer as it was hated on to me and when I got my $190 Blackout Pro, it BLEW away what i was ABOUT to buy at the time for $259.99, the Rustler Brushed. So RTR i was blown away.. Tried the Earthquake and again for LESS then my shitty Stampede cost, I had an Earthquake! That was a BLAST for the money at the time. Redcat all the way as far as value out the box> Let me know the reference please!

that really depends on your driving conditions, where you plan on taking it I mean and the size preference of a vehicle that you like for the money spent. You could get a team Redcat 1/10 scale for a little under $370 with a 3s 5200 battery or you could get the big truck for around $420 with no batteries. So to get the batteries or roughly adding another $90 or so and they are both going to be stuck out the box about the same speed and they both have pinion gear upgrade options that would allow them to get a little bit more top-end. So the big truck is definitely built thicker which makes it more durable because the parts are bigger butt again it really depends on the size that you're looking for and your expectations. I have a feeling the 1-10 scale will be around 50 miles per hour after I go to a 12 tooth later on. obviously I need new tires by the end because the others would just be pancakes driving at that speed.

I'm looking for a truck that would be the cheapest in the long run. Do you the the 8e being more durable would be cheaper in the long run? Which do you think would handle rough terrain he best with speed and pure power? I am exited to see your response.

well thank you for your opinion but the strap system seems fine to me. I've had a battery that took up the whole battery tray almost already in there and it is fine. The straps come out and around and strapped to the top of the battery. It can almost take up all of the battery compartment and still be fine. Parts are definitely not hard to come by. Maybe can't find them at all your local hobby shops but very accessible on eBay and I'm not sure who you're getting your information from but I've got my team Redcat vehicle with the max 8 combo and all the stuff the Beast 6s has running at least 55 plus right now. I haven't even been able to get a clock on it past that because of the parking lot space and limitations that I had with the tires at the time. So it definitely does more than 45 miles per hour so if you're going to bash something with all your RC knowledge at least know what you're talking about first or try something and experience it and then come up with song actual pros and cons instead of theories.

lol... ok... i was over 60 on my BE6S and the E6/Mt8E wasnt made to go over 45 out the box! The be6s also has straps and i also run fat packs and made the MT8E version go just as fast as the 6S version. Seems like you have only window shopped the truck and never touched one! Great truck, the Be6S version for the difference in price though

not from what I seen! It IS 650+ compared to $560 (with standard aluminum upgrades) and although I like the CEN, I have been in the same field with both, and to say "it beats its ass" is just silly! Even if it did out perform the be6s, which it did not from what i saw in person, it would not be embarrassed! People that sleep on this truck are the ones missing out!

Comes from the same factory but it is not a "Fake"! In the US, the distributor is Redcat. They have the US license. You are picturing Team Magic as like a Losi, team Assoc or Traxxas, their own companies and manufactures... Team magic sells its rights to other companies that want to sell their product in different markets... It is not a fake as it comes from the SAME factory. You get the option to get it for a US price instead of an overseas price

lol.. The BE6S is garbage? Clearly you don't speak from experience on this! I have never heard a BE6S owner say that so you must not have. Truck is far from garbage and is one of the most upgraded trucks you can buy out the box for mid 500's!

It is a 3 part hard plastic chassis that is SOLID! lol..You can like the Kraton/Talion, as I do as well as far as a good truck but that does not make the BE6S garbage! You can hate on it all you want but you have no voice on the topic, just an uneducated opinion. The plastic chassis is as mentioned a partial chassis as in if you wreck the front end that could break a plastic chassis or bend an aluminum one, instead of rebuilding the whole truck on a new chassis, you may be able to disassemble just the front and replace it or the connector instead. The chassis is an awesome chassis and even Team magic thinks so as they have used the same chassis on 5 model/variations now and it holds up! You really shouldn't say something is garbage just because you own an Arrma and think they are all thats out there. Team Redcat line is solid and until you drive one, you cant speak on it with anything more then a flawed opinion!
