Serral beats every single Terran without losing a map, that includes Maru (several times already), even Clem not even a year ago. GOAT Clem beats Serral twice, without losing a map, while Serral still wipes the floor with any other Terran. OMG TERRAN SO OP!

Genuine question for anyone: In game 3, Ryung has a very strong mass tank army for several minutes until Serral finally gets a wave of broodlords online. My question is: at this point, with 15 tanks, why not just unsiege them all and use them like bulkier mauraders? They have good single target dps and still kill ultras with ease after all

Serral has always good control over mutas, but I think he doesn’t want to play mutas most of the time.

It's actually kind of really sad that Clem's succesful, sad for the genre, that raw speed and moving the mouse is all that matters, because there's such a large strategy deficit at the top level, even high gm you can see abundant room for improvement but it doesn't matter because they're just faster and out micro The biggest issue with Serrals playstyle is you have to trust you did things right the first time whereas high apm you can have that level of insurance but it's just.. it's too much, it's hurts the game as a whole and there's no way to avoid it

Thank you for the excellent content you put out Winter. Ive played and watched SC2 since its launch. But I was mislead by the community to think that you were a bad content creator. I started watching you a year ago, and realized Ive been missing out. Keep it up!

Honestly. I wish there was a way or if they started like this they should have balanced the game to where the Zerg doesn't need creep to fight. They should have made it to where zerg just needs it for very close defense and the rest of the map if viable as long as they have the correct units and positioning..

Serral is just so good. Truly amazing. Sadly he's about to hit the wall for gamers age wise so we'll see who replaces him. I hope he builds a cheese getup since it's always been used against him but he has never really tried to cheese himself!

Thank You Om nom nom Do battlecruisers pose a good potential counter to mass mutas? flies, tanky enough to not get nibbled over, and yamato guaranteed kills 6:07 maru starts +2 attack upgrade and has 95 minerals, he doesn't start +2 armor he also starts building a turret after that He didn't have the minerals for double upgrade and didn't notice, we are all excused

I think more and more that some playstyles just work very well against others, its not only who is "best". Serral beats everyone, but he seems powerless against Clem. Clem recently got multiple time beaten by Reynor, who against other players is not atm at the same level as Serral. Maru gets destroyed by Serral, but takes GSL after GSL and looks pretty strong against other players then Serral and Clem.

I'm sure it has happened many times but I don't think I've ever seen a pro game where the zerg has gone mutalisks against a terran and lost

I feel like game 2 really highlights how much Thors need the vehicle weapon upgrades against mutas. Vehicle plating is absolutely less of a qualitative improvement for the army as a whole than weapon upgrades in that specific scenario. Plating upgrades are not useful against mass mutalisks since no amount of plating will stop a medivac or widow mine from being one-shot by 20-ish mutas. Comparatively, iirc it only takes 2 shots from a +2 Thor to kill mutas without armor, and the splash is significant enough that the whole flock will be dropped into autumn health range, better enabling marines to pick off a few. I think the mistake is an understandable one to make though, since in most scenarios he would want to get the armor upgrades over the weapons when using widow mines. Mutalisks already force a change in strategy and building different units than he would usually want, thinking about the specific benefits of one upgrade over another is definitely not the top thing on his mind in that scenario.

I am not sure if the raven needs a buff (perhaps price decrease or hp increase to be harder to kill), or if the pros are really that mentally stuck in the "Cant spare the money for it"

WINTER make 2 v 2 but its a 1 v 1 starcraft happen. 2 pros 1 macros, 1 micros.... Highest level starcraft late games ever.

Amazing how much I see Winter whine about widow mines, yet lately I've seen them be completly useless against lings and mutas because they are too fast for the mine to react.

his t2 upgrade was being destroyed over and over at the same location, why did he keep building it on the same place? he could not efficiently defend them there.
