Credits for this parody of Hellsing Ultimate are over here: / teamfour. . RIP to a legend, Alexander Anderson #BayonetsForDays Compilation from eps 01-05 over here: • TeamFourStar's | Hells...
Holy shit I forgot how uncensored the TFS team did this series. "These are Catholic suicide bombers. Oh this day is great!" "Is it racist to say it sounds better in Arabic?" I gotta rewatch all of it
"Anderson! It's only been a few days, but it's felt like years. And you... I want to say... Logan? Anderson what's this guys name." "Hmghm." "Oh better watch out for *hgmgh*."
The way alucrads tone changed when he realized what Anderson was gonna do with that nail truly embodies their relationship in the most beautiful way imaginable
It even makes more sense in the following scenes when he's talking with Satan that Alucard became this Monster not out of seeking power for powers' sake; but in an attempt to save his people that were being slaughtered by the Turks due to God having turned his back to the Wallachians' plight. Following this and seeing how other Vampires of lesser means and virtues were abusing their powers for selfish and destructive ends; Alucard decided to destroy them all and ensure that no other Vampire would ever rise to his level of power: at least not until he was ABSOLUTELY sure that humanity would be able to truly stand against the Nightwalkers on their own. And the only way that could happen, would be to have a Human of great natural power and conviction be able to kill Alucard at his fullest strength: and the only ones that came close to that goal were Van Hellsing and Alexander Anderson. Van Hellsing and the Hellsing Organization would come close to wiping out all Vampires thanks to their resources and their skills, but it wasn't enough to satisfy Alucard in the slightest. Alexander Anderson was the next option following the death of Van Hellsing; but when Father Anderson pulled out St. Helena's Nail to stab himself through the heart with it to gain power over Alucard; that was when he felt absolutely betrayed that Anderson would force himself to go that low to try and defeat Alucard. Alucard simply wants to die knowing that Humanity will never again suffer from monsters like Vampires ever again.
@@0hvist I believe the quote they used in the actual show was "A monster cannot kill another monster, only a human can." Alucard *wants* Alexander to be strong enough to kill him on his own, he could have actually accepted death if it came at Alexanders hands. But thats not what happened. Alexander turned himself into a monster to kill a monster. And thats why Alucard is so heartbroken.
@@seasnaill2589 More like an abomination rather than a monster. We can only speculate what would happen if Alexander manage to kill alucard with the nail in his heart. Many says he would rage against the world a massive war.
@@seasnaill2589I think the quote was from the major "How fitting I took a man with the trappings of a monster to kill a monster with the trappings of a man"
"I have a terrible guilt and rage inside of me that can only be quelled by the blood and subjugation of the unclean." "Oh, you'll fit right in!" That one always gets me too. Like, as funny as Alexander is, the dude is still a legit evangelical monster. xD
I love how the 3 factions each have their own monster Trump card. Hellsing has Alucard/Dracula Iscariot has Anderson/Frankenstein Millennium has The Captain/The Wolfman. Now we just need the U.S to come in with the Mummy and we'll have a Universal Monster reunion: Anime Style!!
Someone else said this, but it bears repeating: Anderson was _so close_ to being correct- that nail would have absolutely demolished Alucard, down to the last cursed drop of his blood. If Anderson had done what Alucard said and stabbed him with it. But instead, Anderson choose to use the weapon on himself, and became a monster of God. That, more than anything, likely hurt Alucard more than any of Anderson’s bayonets could.
@@superdogsam6230 It’s quite possible. Though Alucard himself didn’t want Anderson to go through with it- in the manga and original ova, he pleaded desperately for Anderson not to “become a monster like me.” Anderson, unfortunately, chose to disregard Alucard’s supplication, as he wanted to become a “monster of god.” Sadly for everyone involved, we saw how that turned out, and it’s a brilliant, tragic moment that humanizes both men.
How was the original? Some kind of eldritch shit like "Oh Jesus was a aliend and if I inject his blood on me by stabbing me in the heart I will have superpowers and not just fcking die" ? If it was something like that I swear.
@@saulesalejos4483 Basically it was a nail that, because it was covered in the blood of Christ, when Alexander pierced his heart it turned him into a monster of god
@@saulesalejos4483 nah, it was more of that Anderson just become completely silent and only removing it did he die as his usual self. Basically TFS took a creative liberty so cool that I wish it were canon.
"Through the ministry of the church, May god give you pardon and peace. And i absolve you from your sins, in the name of the father and of the son and the holy spirit.. Amen" CHILLS every damn time
Wouldn't have been the time for that... Unless he was just about to perish (before Walter stomps on him) and explaining how he faced his demons took more time to explain than he had left.
Well… it’s technically more like they have the authority to ‘speak on behalf of God’. They can’t actually forgive them themselves, hence why Anderson took ‘forgiving Alucard in the “name of God”’ to it’s literal extreme
The one thing I wished they kept was when anderson stabbed himself in the heart with the nail, and alucard using whatever little humanity he had left, was begging anderson not to do that. it was a heartfelt scene, because alucard wanted him to beat him as he was.
"If we're doin this--and WE *ARE* DOING THIS--I'm not gonna come swingin at Dracula! I'm killin Alucard!" 5:10 "Hope you don't mind. I brought some friends. Associates. Slaves? Slaves. I brought slaves." 6:03 - The parody of just fucking THAT. The awareness of English speakers who've watched subtitled stuff enough that they hear it credit voice and instantly recognize it but don't necessarily know what it means word-for-word and then retranslate it to fit in this scene---fucking SOLID. 6:37 "Ninja Catholic Suicide bombers. What a fun day." "Is it racist to say that sounds better in Arabic?" 7:33 "From the DON'T FUCK WITH THIS armory?!" "Awwww fuckin' c'mon man!" 9:32 "Alucard, I hate you, but I understand you. You seek out your own justice to right the countless wrongs you have committed. To find forgiveness and salvation. But when you find it, will you accept it? As a man, much like you, once lost adrift in the mad world, I made peace with my demons. May I tell you how?"
@@cunningsmile4166 and its legit. I also realize what "The Game" that winkle referenced was. Tfs really wanted to piss of older audiences with that line XD
@@PikaBlue742 Basically before our phones were a thing people played something called "The Game" basically, once you hear someone talk of "the game", which is always them announcing that they've lost, you then end up playing it. The whole premis is to hear it once, and forget about it, if you end up remembering it, you need to shout "I lost The Game" The only way to win is to die, as you won't remember the game after death. Probably.
@@0Arcoverde Still doesn't explain how actually have the actual Body of Christ. Like dude, remember, on the third day, Jesus's body was gone, and Jesus appeared to His disciples. Then, He rose to Heaven. There's no way the Iscariots have the actual Body of Christ. If they did, that only meant they killed Jesus Himself. So much for worshipping God.
@@johnsonbaroncaveler6634 debatable, ad many schollars like to believe he intended to die for our sins, agreeing with judas to be betrayed and with the crowd to save Barrabás But also, in the animation, it's clearly a piece of wood, a nail probably If the cross represents jesus, any part of it is also the body of jesus
8:13 “Through the ministry of the church may God give you pardon and peace, and I absolve you from your sins, in the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of the Holy Spirit Amen.”
this is art! What a treat to wake up to These videos are SO incredibly high quality and they just keep improving somehow, keep em coming hails from drauglur from germany
So each major factions (Hellsing, Iscariots, and the Nazis) have a heavy hitter and a "sidekick" of sorts. Alucard, Alexander, and The Captain (werewolf) are the heavy hitters while Seras, Heinkel and Schrodinger are the sidekicks per se
Even if the series didn't show it we all know Anderson went straight to the best possible place God can offer in heaven. He laid down his life for God along with having unshakeable faith.
Well I'm disappointed Dracula only makes a brief appearance I like the fact that the noble way he regards Alexander angers him and Alexander demands for him to switch back to the personality of the amalgamated monster. He didn't come to murder a man he came to slay a beast.
1:57 the quick cut to Maxells face on the right side of the screen where Logan was is amazing. I didnt notice it had cut I though you had cropped Maxwell over Logan
This is relevant to both the canon and abridged series, but the moment where Alucard decided he couldn't forgive Walter - whether he was a double agent or not - was when he crushed Anderson's head; Alucard wanted to give Alexander his last words, and Walter stole that from him.
Alexander anderson is soo cool and such a badass, 5:05 if that happened to me I'd definitely wouldn't be able to fight back, especially this part 8:54 that was super awesome... except for the last part, puck you butler.
I do so very desperately want to play a Fr Anderson DnD cleric character. Probably would have to multiclass into something. I’m thinking fighter for more martial weapon tricks since he hardly ever uses priestly magic or anything beyond being tough as nails and jamming bayonets in monster faces.
