On my old 550 I sucked up a rock and a whole new performance jet pump already assembled was easier than repairing the old one and it’s hard as hell to get them out on some skis. My dad and I were out there with a crowbar going full send
Good job on the videos. I am looking at buying a jet ski in order to remove the engine and put it into a 15 or 16 foot boat. Do you have any advice on removing the engine and connections so they're easy to remount? I've never worked on the Jet ski before. Thanks
I got a Polaris SLT 700 and it needed new fuel filters and a battery. After that, it started after I put a little gas in the carburetors. A week later I tried again and it started right up. Then I took it to the lake and it wouldn't start. I tried for 10 minutes to start it and it turned and turned until I thought I might kill the battery. Then I looked under the seat to see what I could find and the ground cable must have got really hot because the the insulation completely melted off. Any thoughts???
my name is norm begin just bought a 98 polaris slt 700 no compression in the back cylinder so I took it apart my question is where is the best place to find a cylinder or jug piston and rings looks like that cylinder got hot and the ring broke off and grooved the cylinder wall.
I just purchased a 1997 SLX IT HAS 3 CYLINDERS. I HAVEN'T got the title yet but before I spend a lot of money on it I'd like to know how many CC'S it is
10:13 how thre hell did you remoeve the engine without taking apart the hull? I already unscrewed those 4 outer bolts holding the thinner piece of metal, but I still have 4 bolts that are on those raised metal mountsa under the engine with screw holes.
I’ve got a 1998 polaris slth 700 that was working fine then on the water the other day it didn’t want to start and ran my battery dead so I jumped it and it ran great the rest of the day until I turned it off. I went to start it and only got a click, click. Took it home put the battery on the charger and I still only get a click, click. I tried to by pass the relay with a screwdriver but the starter didn’t turn over. The breaker isn’t tripped and both fuses are good in the box. Any suggestions? Thanks
