Well this is confusing, a person with, what i am assuming to be a variation of habsburg spain/the spanish empire singing a song made by a communist? Well thats a first
@@perryplayzzzactually may 7th is correct that’s when the surrender negotiations started and the German Luftwaffe, Wehrmacht, SS, Kriegsmarine were told to cease all operations, but the main document for German surrender was signed on the 8th
@@DemocraticConfederalist33 This song acknowledges to many uncomfortable truths that question the current WW2 narrative, e.g China's contribution, and Britain standing alone while America ignored their allies.
@@Alfred5555the US wasn’t really close allies with any of them at the time. The war wasn’t personal until Pearl Harbor but American trucks, guns, bullets, etc were already all over the allies
I've never heard a happier war song. The aim is clear. The allies are highlighted. The necessity of war is made clear. A very strong case for the United States of America to drop their commitments to isolationism from Continental European politics has been made that can make the most stubborn pacifist think twice about their convictions.
the failure of Americans to realise that THEY are the nazis of today saddens me. the amount of people i know who lost so much because of the NATO terrorist organisation saddens me, people from Syria, people in my own country affected by British death squads. it is so sad, please wake up.
I love how this song gives all the allied powers credit and respect, even thanking them, including the Soviets and Chinese who, weren't exactly as buddy-buddy as we were with the others, but if there's one thing that unites us is our hatred for those disgusting nazis. like seriously, what other ideology than fascism can unite a communist Marxist-Leninist state, a social liberal democracy, and a right-wing military dictatorship.
which one is the right-wing military dictatorship? edit: ok i get it its china. its just that i here alot of idiots saying the U.S is a right-wing military dictatorship.
@@gimel_minkobviously not, just good ol' America standing with its principles and values, we can have that and not be racist instead of degrading that as like what we've seen nowadays
Americans in 1940s: "Don't be a sucker!" Americans today: *making sigma edits of Nazi soldiers commiting the most horrible acts in history against innocent civilians with phonk music playing in the background*
A veces disfruto esos videos con música phonk y pienso que varios soldados alemanes fueron sobresalientes en el campo de batalla pero se comete el error de idealizar la guerra y como dices ideologías horribles.

I eat both of them equally. Although I will admit, there's more meat on Fascists on average. Communists tend to be 9 out of 10 all skin and bones, while the 10th one is clearly more fat than meat.
@@terminalpreppie8439 why does it matter If he was a communist, how does that change my opinion? Also clearly the US, a conservative/liberal nation, thought fascism was a worse threat as that’s who they fought against first aiding the USSR in the process.
@@mnm1273 Because they didn't really have good reason to, before Pearl Harbor the American Public was very against going to war with the Axis, and the Red Army wasn't even ready for the war by the time they were attacked.
@@theburgerboy5936 "the American Public was very against going to war with the Axis" exactly they saw a man as evil as HIiler conquer most of Europe and chose to ignore it. That's the criticism. "Red Army wasn't even ready for the war by the time they were attacked." the USSR aided the germans, giving them resources and invading Poland with them.
@@mnm1273What I'm trying to say is that an early war with the Axis Powers by either the USA or the Soviet Union would have been a disaster. It's not really fair to criticize the US for not going to war earlier when it would've outraged the US public for dragging them into another war. And the Soviets tried to delay the war as long as possible by placating the Germans because they knew their army wasn't even close to strong enough to fight them at the time, which was proven right when they were pushed to the outskirts of Moscow within 6 months of the German invasion. The Red Army would've been obliterated if they had tried to attack even earlier than that.
@@theburgerboy5936 The US public is the US, they as a nation chose to not join the war. You're describing the exact behaviour that means they're to blame. The Soviets invaded Poland with the NAZI, they weren't "trying to placate them" they had the same goals and were allies. They assumed they wouldn't be attacked. NAZI strength was in major part thanks to Soviet aid.
Think this is the only time I’ve heard an American war song sing praise for Russians, Chinese AND the British! Goes to show no matter our differences, least we can all agree fascism has no place in this world
You don’t even know what it is There was even a fascist nation on the allied side, though they adopted fascism mainly because they saw it being quite effective as a tool to militarize and figured they needed to do the same thing to match the strength of the bad guys
@@qantj Greece They were kind of the oddball of the fascists for a lot of reasons, but fascism is simply a tool to guide the state, and can be used for good or evil It is however, not preferable to good old fashioned American freedom, but even FDR adopted many of its policies both before and during the war It’s also distinct from National Socialism, and that, along with other forms of socialism such as international socialism (the official ideology of communist countries) and Arab socialism (Nazis with brown skin, and definitely sharing Hitler’s opinion on Jews) has no place in the world
The Irony is that this song is to an extent about collaboration. But people apparently can’t put their political views aside and antagonism of other views to see that, and learn from it.
My great grandfather on my mother's side was an American during WW2, unfortunately he was too crazy to serve in the military, he went through a lot of suffering and did a lot of bad s*** but he lived a normal life after spending some time in prison. I really hope I don't end up like either of my grandfathers the next time there's a draft, one was in the Wehrmacht, the other should have been an American soldier, but neither got to be good, and that's all I want.
Whoever that kid at the end was, I hope they lived a long, happy life and were able to tell their grandchildren of how they lampooned Hitler after taking Berlin.
Ukraine saw some of the worst fighting in WW2. Particularly in the Donbas as the German 6th army smashed into the Red Army pushing for Stalingrad. Partisan activity was also at a peak at this time
