My wife and I were at the SPAC show. It was amazing. This came on, and all this 50 yr old retired Marine could do was sit there and cry and watch my wife dance.
Their show in Raleigh last week was incredible! They sound so good togethe and the backup singer was very talented too! These songs bring back 80s happy times for me…
Was there--- it was amazing !!! Seeing generations of new TFF's fans made my heart happy !! Parents with their children sharing their love of the band- it was great !!!
I'm from Argentina and I was very lucky to be there during my vacation. It was one of the best concerts I've ever seen. Thanks TFF and you for sharing it!!!
Living proof that the 80s was the best decade for music I know I was there, and this band is the best one to come out of it,thank you tears for fears 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏🏴
I graduated HS in 88' Tears for Fears will ALWAYS be in my heart, and music shuffle!! Love to all my fellow GEN X, whose heart aches, thinking about those old times. You are NOT ALONE!! ♥♥
My friends and I were there, I can’t believe they never played at MSG before. Such an incredible show and Roland is hysterical is. MSG never felt so intimate and special ❤❤❤
Was at this show in June. When my wife heard the beginning to Mad World, she started screaming. I will say that these obviously aren't the moody 20 some-odd year olds' of the mid '80's. These are 2 60 some-odd year olds' who have lived life, raised kids, buried spouses, found & lost & found each other, etc...I love Curt & Roland & TFF.
Wow Lauren Evans!!! Badman's Song is a highlight. These dudes are having such fun and creating tight, incredible live shows 40 years into their careers. Insane.
Lauren Evans has an absolutely amazing voice! Just heard her tonight near Nashville. Sounded as amazing tonight as she does in this recording. Truly an amazing talent!
This tour keeps getting better and better, as far as I see from people's footage ❤❤ I am so happy for North American fans who are able to enjoy these beautiful shows! Thanks guys for filming them and for posting the videos. 🙏 I truly pray for a European tour leg in fall/winter ❤
Seeing Mad World performed that well by these guys in 2023 is a real trip. Their Beatles influence always made me sympathetic to them, but Mad World was just so dark and personal. Nice capture, as always!
Best show this year. Curt was happy to perform again after illness, Roland's wife died and he was drinking a lot. This is a great comeback to the stage and a great new album.
In Mountain View, last year, I sat next to Roland’s youngest son, who held both hands over his heart when they sang many of the new songs. Roland has happily remarried. Curt broke a rib, and he’s well and performing … we are all so happy about this! Now, enjoy!
You have forgotten the VERY best : SIMPLE MINDS their last album is a masterpiece! the cure and depeche mode can't play , they are not at the same level like the others.
I went to this show with my mom, such an amazing night. I’m glad to say I got to see these legends twice (last year at Jones Beach), I love them so much 🥺🥰 Thank you for posting the full show!
Just saw them last night in Vancouver BC 🎉🎉 magical spectacular intimate ❤ listening to them in my twenties. Now in my 60s and first time seeing them in concert ❤ truly in the most positive vibe today. Thank you for posting 😊😊😊
My Demons is an UNBELIEVABLE track. They played this in Seattle last night and I swear my face melted. It's a disgrace that most people don't know TFF are still cranking out incredible music.
they & Living color were my favorite bands of the '80's. What memories! So happy to see 'music' taking the stage at MSG. What a wonderful feeling it must have been for them to fill MSG at this stage of life. I'm very happy for them.
Thanks for posting this. It is a good and clear video, with the band up close. I saw them in 2019, and i want to see this show as well. But there are no dates in The Netherlands yet.
Thank-you so much for this ❤😎👍Fantastic show! I wish I was there in person, as I've been getting into the band of late, thanks to the new great album and re-releases of their older material in the Hi-Res format!
Not really. I’d say there were just as many, if not more, shallow, manufactured pop acts in the 80’s as there is now. There’s lots of great new music out there if you just look. You can’t listen to top 40 radio and expect everything to be good. Just like far from everything was good in the 80’s.
I saw Tears For Fears on the Seeds of Love tour in 90 in Atlanta Georgia at Six Flags. I saw Curt Smith solo in Sacramento California and Roland on the Raoul and the Kings of Spain tour in San Francisco California. I wish I would have seen both the Hurting and Songs from the Big Chair tours! I’m glad for RU-vid to see this tour! The cd 💿 is amazing!
Had a blast at The Mohegan Sun in CT 6/24/23 with my wife Miriam and daughter Ashley. They are our favorite band of all times. My wife and I saw them in CT 40 years ago when they kicked their first US Tour in 1983. Divine moments!
love Tears for Fears, thank you for recording this concert Jim. This is the best way to start my 4th of July. God bless you all and God Bless America !
Just once I wish I could see them play The Working Hour, even if they had to play along with a recorded track. I saw this tour last year, and am going again in a few weeks. Their latest album is amazing.
As we say on this side of the pond, ‘I was over the moon’ to see this concert pop up but then I have been watching a lot of TsFFs recently on You Tube so thanks AI. Brilliant come back in recent years particularly after Roland’s loss 6 years ago. What a band!!!!
Chiudi gli occhi, resti al buio, ascolti in cuffia rivers of mercy e le sue sonorita' e melodie impastate con una voce meravigliosa ti portano a sognare e a viaggiare con i sensi, fantastico pezzo! TFF the best from italy!
They have held up well as has Level 42. Carina Round does a good job standing in for Oleta Adams which is a HUGE space to fill. Nothing can replace the recorded 1989 concert recording, but we were all a LOT younger and stronger then.
80's was the best decade for music.....PERIOD!!! Alternative, Metal, R&B, Rap....was all great. I was a Metal/Hair Band person myself. Favorite band back then was Queensryche.
Makes me smile! Brings back so many good and sad memories from my high school days in the 80's but I'm glad to see these guys are still around making awesome music in the real world these days.
How did I not know they were coming back to NY this Summer? Damn! Last time I saw them was at Jones Beach in 1990! The Final show of the Sowing The Seeds of Love tour. Went to school in Lindenhurst with a Jimmy Powers! Thanks for posting this!
Thanks so much for posting....one of my fav bands from 80s.....I will never ever forget walking into the dance club in 1983 and Shout was playing...epic moment...they are still my boys..love you TfF
Imagine an even more perfect concert if they also would have sang Mothers Talk, Working Hour, Elemental, Goodnight Song, Song for the Young at Heart, Raoul...T4F doesn't have one bad song ❤❤❤❤❤
I don't know what it is about Goodnight Song but it's incredibly heartbreaking. I've loved that song for decades and I still can't really describe how it makes me feel. Break It Down Again seems to be the only Elemental song that'll get love on the tour (it's the only one they played in Seattle last night).
Thank you for this wonderful video (and audio). I love this group and the new album is AMAZING! I saw two shows on their last tour, but they won’t be close to where I live this time around, so I rocked out to your video!
Thanks for uploading! Saw them for the first time last year in Los Angeles, almost made a grown man cry - wonderful show. Was super stoked to see the tour continue this year and so I'm seeing them again at the Hollywood Bowl next month, flying in from Mexico City. Love the latest album too.
