As a creator focused on tech. I get to try a bunch of tech and tech accessories that I personally find interest in and so I thought it would be interesting to show you what someone who gets to play with a lot of tech actually ends up using everyday. Let’s get started.

The best value 3-in-1 chargers I found was this no-name one off Amazon called the: Petino 3in1 Charging station. You get magnetic charging, a wireless charger for your wireless earbuds, and an apple watch charger. You can move the magnetic charger into an elevated position so that you can use your iphone in standby mode. And when you don’t want it on full display, you can collapse it.
The Moment Pro Tripod Mount for Magsafe is such a nifty tool if you’re a photographer, videographer, or someone who wants to up their social media content they generate on their phone. Basically it screws into a tripod then you can attach your phone, to record videos, or shoot photos on a tripod. With the cold shoe mount up top you can attach mics, or lights. This has made shooting videos off my phone so much easier, because it gives me all the expandability that I normally get on my mirrorless camera, right onto my iPhone.
I know for a fact, I’m not the handiest guy around but the iFixit Pro tool kit has made me super comfortable and maybe even handy with opening up my tech and digging around inside and sorting it out.
Stream decks have been a game changer in my life. Being able to have a bunch of quick, easy to access buttons that can do whatever I want is amazing. I have a button that just opens up google drive on a specific account for me. And one that opens a folder I picked on my Mac. It’s super useful in saving me a little bit of time here and there, but it adds up and makes me more productive in work, and in my own personal life.
I've started to appreciate a good mechanical keyboard. I mean, I type on a keyboard 8 hours a day. That’s how long I sleep on my mattress. I gotta find comfort in it. So I’m rocking a Keychron Q1 Pro. It’s stock, only because I haven’t found the time to start modding it. I like the Q1 Pro because it’s really nice right out of the box, but lets me switch between Mac OS and Windows layouts with a switch, and it’s wireless!
In my pocket, I almost always have the AirPods Pro 2 with me. I got the lightning version with me, cause I’m not paying $250 to get a new, slightly better version with usb-c. They’re not the best sounding wireless earbuds I’ve heard, but they’re just so convenient to have with me especially since they’re so compact. I use these when I want to focus on something. Like writing, editing, commuting downtown, relaxing on a flight. Wherever. They also do really well with devices in the apple ecosystem and lets you seamlessly switch between them. I didn’t expect for it to become such an integral part of my life. But these things have gone on more trips with me than my wife has. That sentence looked better in the script.
So that’s the tech I use everyday. These things drastically vary in price and I tried to focus more on the practical and functional aspects and despite this video being basically a roundup video, I hope it was useful to find out, behind the cameras and lights, what functionally has worked out day to day instead of what’s plastered on the front page of the channel.

Based Gundam watcher. Also I can agree on a good backpack, the AirTags and iFixit set of tools, which I bought after one of your previous videos. They've saved me some headaches a number of times.

Best affordable piece of tech I bought this year is the Amazfit band 7 for 55$ CAD. Does 90% of what I expect from an Apple watch for 10-20% of the price. I basically use it to monitor heart rate, sleep track, and check the time / weather. I don't like receiving notifications/ calls on my wrist so I don't need that. Also only needs to be charged every 2 weeks vs. every day.

I'm an Apple TV fan because of the remote and the interface, good recommendation. (BTW, I've always liked your content so I finally subscribed)

I got myself the mx master 3 and mx keys last year and im loving them every single day. I never had a mouse that felt this good before, and the keyboard, let me tell you these switches are just awesome. I know some of you may prefer mechanical ones but i found myself liking the short and easy travel of the mx keys a lot more. Also don’t forget a proper office chair, it is totally worth the investment especially if you spend a large portion of your days/weekends at your pc. I got lucky and was able to pick up a practically new Wagner Alumedic 10 for 400 bucks.

What's the Aputure light model you use at 3:15? And does the arm holding it come with the light? I would love to get that along with the MagSafe mount

I think it's an Aputure MC, but how are you connecting it to the Moment Magsafe mount?

It is the Aputure MC! The arm that holds it, is a cold-shoe mount that comes with it!
