Thanks for the video. Was thinking of mounting a mac mini to the back of huion pen display monitor in order to give it limited level of portability (computer desk vs dining table for example). Now I know that the NUC extension plates will work with the mac mini mounts. Thanks again.

if you turn the Mac mini 180 degrees that the apple looks correctly, then you have the cables on top where u can manage them easily. Same applies for the on/off button.

I think I would move the spare visa mount on the out side of the monitor so nothing fouls with the stand

I considered that but it could make the stand off-balance. It is more stable near the center of mass. That being said, I eventually plan on bolting the monitor stand to the desk. When I do that, it won't matter how I position it.

If I am someone who constantly rearranges the monitor with an arm, do you think there is risk of damaging the monitor due to its weight?

I don't think it would damage the monitor but with this mount, you would want to make sure the pivots are loose enough so they move relatively freely. That being said, this mount doesn't have as much adjustability as others. It might be worth paying a little more for a mount that allows you to move the monitors up and down too.

VESA mounts are very strong, and the Mini adds only a slight bit of extra weight, so there should be no problem with that. If you're moving things around a lot, you'll want to tie or clamp all the cables coming out of the Mini, so that the motion doesn't work them loose. The USB ports, in particular, don't grip the cables very well. Put the ports on the top, as Stephan suggests, so the cables aren't pulling down on the connectors; this also gives you easy access to the ports, on/off switch, and SD card slot.

It looks like genius, but there's one huge problem: the monitor blocks the Bluetooth signal. Can't use my wireless keyboard or my Magic Mouse if the Mini is stuck back there. (Big 32" Dell here; your mileage may vary.)

I haven't had that problem myself but I'm guessing that is monitor dependent. You might look into getting a USB Bluetooth dongle. You could try that directly in the Mac's USB port and if that doesn't work, try a short USB extension cable (4-8") to move the dongle away from the back of the monitor.
