Tech Support Scammer Fails Using Fake Bank Account 

I love going back and looking at old videos... man, this one brings back memories!

I love how well you improvise small talk. It's amusing how they're always so annoyed by it because they're so eager to just complete the scam and get it over with... Hearing the frustration in their voice is very satisfying to listen to.

After haing my savings stolen by scammers. It feels good to have someone do this. I so enjoy the humor in parts. 21 jump St. 1 of my favorites. Thank you for this great entertainment and payback.

I heard him say he can't send a check because you're in different countries. I've also noticed that usually if you ask them beforehand where they are, they try to tell you they are somewhere close to you (in the U.S.). Just for fun, maybe you could ask where they are, wait for them to say they're in the U.S., then later ask for a check instead of online transaction and when they say they can't because it's international, ask them why they earlier told you they're in the U.S.? Just a thought.

You should tell them that they can just send you a box of cash wrapped up in aluminum foil! 😂😂😂

I love the work this guy does but it also makes me very sad. With all of the division in the world, these scammers just add to it by making it difficult for people to trust others. I really don't want to live in a world where we cannot trust others to be decent human beings. The rest of the world will continue to lose respect for India until they start taking this problem seriously.

Great video. I use a bank name which is blatantly phony, but they always try to look it up anyway to lower my interest rate. Even after I provide the bank name, (Eunuch's Bank) they don't seem to realize I'm wasting their time and continue with the script. I'm addicted to their frustration level!

It is easy to see how your skills on the computer, and at dealing with these mutts has improved over time. God Bless you and your fellow scambaiters for hassling these guys the way you do. I would like to suggest you do an occasional Batman video every couple of weeks at least. I really laughed through that one.

I think one thing worth noting is that these scammers sell their call lists to other scammers. This is why so many different scams may call one person in a day. Also individual call centers may rotate the scam type depending on the day of the week.

I am not all that tech savvy but I wasted ones time for 20 mins. Finally asked for my computers name and isp he hung up in defeat.

I wonder if it is worth the effort to put a 2nd Apache server on the local network and use the hosts file to redirect the bank website from the VM to a fake bank you can log into with different credentials. Watch them take your fake login to the fake bank and see your fake balance, and then watch them try to get in... Fake not reachable from the web and fake credentials won't work on the real site. Wish I had more free time to set it up. Type the real bank URL, hosts file redirects to your local webserver, Log in, should frustrate to the extreme. Doubt they would check the fake as being on your local LAN. Stolen fake credentials should be a great tease for them.

I always read the comments first. Then look at the number of dislikes. I can figure out who the scammers are based on a lot of veiled comments to justify their actions.

I often wonder how it can be worth these scammers' time to keep attempting such a no-hope rip-off; then I recall early experiences of my own. I'm pretty sure my 85-year-old dad allowed himself to be intimidated by scammers into parting with money. He is no longer alive so I will never know how much he lost. These scammers are professional crooks; it is essential to keep the elderly alert to scammer tactics. The elderly are often easily intimidated into parting with sensitive information. I made a simple rule for my late dad: "If anyone, you don't know, phones about computer problems just hang up immediately. Simple as that. Don't introduce yourself or ask who's calling, just hang up - no questions asked." My late dad was a retired university professor - so nobody's monkey - yet when it came to IT matters he was easily intimidated and bamboozled. It's essential that, when dealing with scams targeting the elderly, we don't lose our temper with the victims. However frustrating their naivety may feel victims don't mean to be scammed. The only way to protect the elderly from scammers is to maintain their open channels of communication with trustworthy friends and family. Yelling at them or calling them "stupid" will simply make the victims clam up; which is ultimately a victory for the scammers.

Disabled senior who has been scammed for over 500 bucks total this year. If I could get it back I'd send it to you. God bless you for what you do. I've just started watching these and they are hilarious. I always like to ask them "what kind of lie they are going to tell today" They get highly upset. Keep em talking because you are keeping on person busy enough to at least miss calling an unsuspecting person.
