My warm cranking compression on my home built sbf 331 for my manual bronco is 162-165 at 5100’. It runs good, but runs mean down in the valley by the beach.

Hi George, I live in the Los Padres Mountains between LA and Bakersfield CA, elevation is 5100ish, maybe 5200’, my phone weather app has me right now at 29.84 inches of mercury. Is that possible? Maybe I ought to purchase a barometer, but I can’t fathom why the air density wouldn’t be lower given I’m almost a mile up. What’re your thoughts? Thanks
