Over .700 lift in a KZ. I remember feeling squeezed at .560. The spring pad was thin from porting and the cam wasn't getting any higher. Blank stem valves and specing base circles was just part of the job, but .700. The one I will never understand is how Byron made a Pro Stock champion out of an FJ Yamaha. That valve angle was like an old CB Honda. Jim Doer told my boss the the ramps were very isometrical so the valves didn't hit on overlap. What about cam chains. Love the vids George
hello, any cam recommendations for a twin cam 107ci build? heads ported and polished with slightly larger intake/exhaust valves. springs .600 lift. compression is 11.0-1 with dometop pistons. stock throttle body and injectors.currently running red shift 527 cams. tuned and dynoed with powervision. HP 97 and 118TQ. which star cam would work well with my current set up?any recommendations would be greatly appreciated thanks.
