he has a video discussing valvelift vs head flow. i dont think valve lift to bore size is as much of a concern as lift vs where the head flows the best. from my interpretation of his video`s if max flow is at .500 lift using a cam that has more than that in lift and keeps the valve open in the .500 range the longest will produce the most power over a wider range
