Do your Fox defender shocks retain the factory weight carrying capabilities such as cargo in rear? Also do you use the same shocks for cab models and non cab models? Just wondering since the cab adds quite a bit more weight to the machine. Thanks!

You mentioned racing the Pro R bone stock at the San Felipe 250. Are you racing in the stock class or? Also Bone stock means Zero aftermarket parts, minus safety equipment they require. So does that mean you are removing all the Shock Therapy upgraded aftermarket parts? Because with the list of cool aftermarket parts you have front & rear for the Pro R, it’s not even close to “Bone Stock”. Also what about wheels & tires? Will you race on a 32 inch Maxxas tire with stock geometry wheels?

It’s not going to be “bone stock”. It’s racing in the open class with Simms and Matlock. Other than safety items, our shocks , our products, wheels and tires it will be stock. Other than the tubing SCORE required us to add to the stock cage there are no other fabricated parts on the car. Just our bolt on stuff. No hand made chassis, arms, radiators, body panels , dashes or electronics. I agree with you it’s not “bone stock” but it would be legal in the UTV stock class.

So is the weak point on that tie rod outer pin that 3/8" 12 point bolt?

No. The 3/8 bolt only hold the rod end on the pin vertically. It is not supporting it in sheer. The BSD pin is the sheer strength for the rod end.

I still wonder how you can patent something that's old as dirt in stockcar racing? just because non SPEED UTV's are poorly designed?

Easy. Either the stock car stuff has never been patented or you narrow the scope of your patent to a UTV or an industry or a particular steering system.
