You took the words out of my mouth. I've assembled a bunch of slides and the spring cup assembly is what I loathe most. Never in 10+ years have I thought to do this and this time around took me all but maybe 45 seconds.
Again, very well done video! Nice lead into upgrading parts. Once upon a time I had to switch out 200 pairs of striker spring cups to the grooved cups so that the striker preformed correctly underwater or full of water. I was stationed in San Diego at the time. P.S. don’t shoot in an above ground pool unless safe back stop and you are ready to drain pool and replace liner😂
I love the Brownells slides. They are my go to for all my builds! 43, 26, 19, 17, and 34. I’ve been considering getting the 19L just for the hell of it!
Stay away from the live free armory “Glock OEM” slides. Wildly out of spec. Doesn’t fit any holsters with Glock brand frames. Won’t chamber a round with Glock 19 gen 3 brand barrels, dagger barrels, shadow systems barrels. The LF19 “OEM Glock” slides are total trash. I mean trash on trash on trash. The live free armory acts like this has never happened and you’re that one person… until you link them tons of other complaints. They they play musical departments sending you everywhere hoping you’ll get tired of it and leave them alone.
