Awesome. I was going to email you and ask what gasket they use, I bought a Prostock 2 years ago and only put 4 tanks through it. must have had a small bit of fuel in the crankcase because last time I went to use it started leaking out the bottom. Really want to get it going again.
If it's a billet case you'll need to seal. If it's a cast case it will use a standard oem Zenoah gasket. Chances are if you purchased two years ago it's a billet case. If you run into any issues or need help drop us an email or give us a call.
I always heat the cases to 130 degrees c and drop the bearings in..do you fit them this way and I presume the case uses the internal circlip for the case bearings to sit up against.
Hi am i correct in saying you use Nachi bearings and not the zenoah NSK beaqrings..if so do these Nachi bearings have the large radius on the inner race like the NSK bearings..as I've found without the radius a Zenoah crank will have no end float. Are the cases designed for CY cranks only? Thanks John ;-)
I'm almost hoping my g290 dies soon so I can order a full mod... or have you guys rebuild the current engine? I guess I would probably just call to get a quote for that/discuss what I'd like done?
We designed the case to not use a gasket. You can take the same gasket and engine and tighen a case and the gasket may compress a couple thousands of and inch on one and double on another. We decided to use sealant instead so we could run our tolerances tighter.
