How in the world did you double your power bolting the parts on the engine? WOW! I got 35 HP from my 30.5 cc engine from watching this video , thanks a lot
You probably dont give a shit but does someone know of a way to log back into an instagram account?? I was dumb forgot the login password. I would love any assistance you can give me.
What drive is your torque wrench. Is it 3/8 or 1/4. I just want to know because I want to get one that's suited for the baja engines. I've got a g290 zenoah. It's inch pounds too is that correct.
Hi love your vids bring the cam closer , I have a zenoha 24 in a large heli and learn from these vids , I also have a zenoha copy no branding on it but the letters QL on the block maby China don't know but would like to find out keep going good vids
Sorry to bother anybody but I'm having trouble with my engine it's a cy 29cc where the clutch holder/plate goes on the crankshaft its supposed to be a friction fit with a retaining bolt in the centre but no matter how tight in make the bolt the crank just spinning in the clutch plate
So if u have extra motor parts laying around all ready it would be cheaper to just get a long block instead of a complete engine ..would the parts from a 2 bolt work on a 4 bolt long block? Flywheel , clutch , clutch housing etc
Diy type of guy That is correct and yes the parts from a 2 bolt will be compatible. If you have the parts to complete the long block it will save you $100-150 over buying a complete engine.
The torque specs you mention differ from my Zenoah manual. It says 7.8nm max (around 69 inch-pounds) for the clutch. Are the torque specs different for tuned motors?
seems people get longblock and longrod mixed up.im sure you guys have gone over it but would be good to mention it in the next video.. I think the carb spring mod would be good for peopke to see. taz
All of our long blocks are ported and will have more power than a stock engine. A long block basically is a cheaper alternative to buying a complete engine if you have a stock engine you can complete it with.
Hi Sean, I have watched alot of your videos, I have just recently purchased a Roven 30.5 witch I am planing on using in a drag car, what carboretter would you suggest I use? I would really appreciate your help.
Would I be able to use that on the stock 29cc losi 5t, or what can I do to get the most power out of the 29cc without buying a in motor. Any info i really appreciate. Thanks
thx for the vid...see they have come out with all kinds of new ones ..now my question is what does the clutch housing mount onto...the old ones were simple just use to have a spindle and it would bold onto the classic california go ped frame...anyway u could help me out.. i was thinking about buying a new motor for my go ped but cant figure out what the clutch assembly and the clutch housing mount onto....dont know what the assembly parts are called
If your goped has a clutch the engine will bolt to the clutch carrier/engine mount. Which model goped do you have? If you're unsure you can always email us a picture or two and we can verify.
Use the contact form on our website and when we will reply from an email you can send pictures to. I don't think youtube will let me post an email in the comments.
ya looked up your guy's website and hit contact us..but the site will not allow me to copy and paste images...nor will it allow me to add it as an attachment ...
Hi guys, I have a ported Roven 32cc, would the WT 990 carburettor be good for this? The car is a bespoke 1/4 scale altered drag car. Any help much appreciated. Steve.
A 5mm bolt probably wants a 4mm Allen key. I’m fond of the Bondhus brand, especially the ones which resemble screwdrivers. Have a 43cc (Zenoah) engine, which I plan to use in an emergency generator.
You're buying one of their built longblocks and bolting on parts from your existing engine. So their built engine is double the power of your old engine.
The rings in two-strokes are guided by small pins - usually brass or steel - that go partly into the ring groves. They do not rotate in the grooves like in most four-stroke engines. If they did rotate, the ends would snag in the ports! Hence, they are pinned in the piston.
I just bought a motor for my go puad and i put the clutch houseing and also the spindle put when i turn on the motor the spindle don't spin help please.
Gday mate, I have a few questions regarding an engine. i am thinking about buying a 34cc engine off you guys but i am unsure of what the difference between a normal engine and a long block is? secondly, i do not have a torque wrench but would doing all of the bolts up nice and snug do the trick? cheers
+jack oliver They are both exactly the same but the long block is basically a stripped down version of a complete engine. You can save money going with a long block but you'll need to complete it with your stock engine.
