Supinated Mag Grip Pulldown
Benefits;
- Prevents internal rotation of the shoulders
- More comfortable on the wrists.
- Enables more engagement of the back musculature.
Technique, initially when learning this is a two-part movement;
- Retract and depress the scapular
- Initiate the movement from the lat
- Drive the elbow to the hip
- While lifting the chest to the mag grip handle
- Control the eccentric using the required tempo
- Return to a slightly lengthened position
- Repeat the movement
