I couldn't agree with you more. Yo, I've been keeping my eye on you. You've gotten extremely strong brother. You got a fabulous set of genetics. You and the rest of my bar brothers inspire the fuck outta me to do this for the right reasons. In your vids, you always have long sleeve shirts on, never tank tops. That's how I know you're reasons for doing this is legit. I'm 26. I've been pushing up and pullin up for 7 years now. I can't stop even if i wanted to. Respect THUNDAR THE BARBARIAN.
it all depends on how you feel, if you train 2 hours a day 5 days a week and ur muscle do not ache like crazy then its okay, if u train and get overtrained were ur muscles are extremely painfull then REST!! rest and grow make sure u eat well. intensity builds immensity baby!!!
that is actually one of the best ways to build muscle and have a really good diet. weight makes you only bigger but using the bodyweight gives you more definition in your body
counting to 10 probably a mind over matter thing like counting down instead of up (which i've used before) to trick mind into thinking it's easy or if counting down getting easier
yes but if done differently then your working a different part of the muscle... anyway is right as long as you go all the way up and all the way down like he is... it pops the muscle, makes it build wide instead of just up
Look i've been doing this like for month ago and trust me the results are awesome, you never gonna get lost the muscles cuz you rest 22 hours at the day, keep doing it..
hi there, please tell me How do you have more results ... doing a number of series and repetitions under the same exercise( lets say pull-ups) or mixing pull-ups, chin-ups or dips for more dynamics ? please respond , if you care for a explanation you have my congrats :) i want the advice of a Pro ;)
So much hate about "neither did a correct pull-up" blah, blah, blah. Look at their backs it's obvious they put in work. They are doing this technique on purpose. No I am not from the NY or the East but these guys get mad respect. He is breaking the "L"
@supasaiyn yes lots of dead hang pull ups oh and try doing these; do a dead hang pull up and throw your self up and catch your self in a chin up that is your hands are facing you and do a dead hang and repeat. in the video if you do the pull ups like them except that you lock your arms out fully when you go down thats a dead hang

the guy with the hat is just training the traps and some shoulder..if he would do a little bit more down he will train more the lats..but you don't need (like all the people says) all the way down and all the way up..but this pull ups still help you to get build
This is awesome but you should really do full extensions, so when you lower yourself from the pull up, do it until your arms are straight and fully locked, then pull yourself back up. Much much harder and way more intense than half pulls.
Some of these guys on here don't have big demanding jobs so don't get down on yourself cuzz you feel you're far behind...just work slowly...the progress will come
Healty "beef". Ima vegetarian but i definitely like this type of "beef". Ima try my best to start this kind of "beef" in New Orleans. Brudda's solving issues on the pull-bar...a beautiful day that'll be.
@123phobia123 why are they empty, is it because they are too hard ? but a quick question, i have tried muscle ups but i can't do one but i can do 20 pull ups. Is there any technique to it ? Thnx.
@supasaiyn no, but they dont usually touch weights. in calisthenics, if you want reach a next level, you need to do harder bodyweight excercises. Muscle ups, plances, etc. PS: Calisthenics > weights. The pull up bars in gyms are 90% empty, guess why :)
The guy who went first got to rest longer between the first set and the second set. He got to rest while the other guy did 25 pull ups. But the second guy only got to rest while the first guy did 10 pull ups on his second set. The bickering at the end about form is just stupid. They should have gotten a watch to keep track of how long they were resting in between. I'm amazed that they didn't do that because the guy who went first got a significant advantage for that.
@XQjano ok. so you know what im talking about. go and do a set of 10 like these guys do it. then do a set of 10 all the way down, almost to the point of your elbows locking. not that these guys do it wrong, they just do them 3/4 the difficulty. your grip gives out quicker and your smaller muscles are exhausted quicker when you go all the way down.
my advice to you is to do some series az you said you can do 6 push ups , make 5 series x 6 push ups and after a month you will se some results and you'll do more and more ;)
Its true their not going all the way down... But its likely that it doesn't matter how far they go down because they could probably do it no matter the range of motion...
check the Barbarian vids, we have some one leg squat (pistol sets) and we'll be putting up more. Big respect to these dudes though, they were going head to head that day.
@PowerDrink100 I think he gets accused of lifting too many weights, like in the gym, and that he doesn't do enough bar work. I think that's what they were talking about anyway.
cool stuff but i wouldn't say that they do them in perfect form, they don't go all the way down before they start their next pull up, your arms should be completely extended and straight before you do the next one.
the second guy had better reps, and he rested less time cuz the first guy did 25, then the second did 25 but the first was resting. the second guy only had a small break from the first guy cuz he did ten the second time around..
The guy with the hat does pull-ups with his thumb on the otherside of the bar. All his fingers should be on the same side. Chin-ups is when your thumb should be opposite
nice. but if you're actually trying to build muscle (which isn't what they were doing) then shouldn't let your back round like that - keep your shoulder blades together and it should be a bee-line from your chest to the bar
@gallumhrasha not true! that is what I thought before i injured my m. supraspinatus and m. biceps brachii, but then I read some books and found out that i was wrong, only BRAKE THE L!!!
End of..not, Baseplug. It matters because I asked. And to answer your ' more important question, ' I asked because I am curious about how the pull-up/calisthenics skills relate to weight-lifting capabilities, a possibility you pverlooked before spouting your cute response. And you don't know what I would ask, or why, of any other athlete.
@felixx2012 man go to bar-barians forum , u will learn some new moves there .. u will get in shape fast, just be dedicated and motivated and that is it ..
